https://ideas.lego.com/projects/98578 This guy made an Arvus Lighter and submitted it in lego ideas. If he gets 10000 votes on this project , lego will consider to make it as a real set. So follow the link and vote for the project.

I imagine G.Dubs would have to approve otherwise there'll be copyright issues. But cool none the less. I think I'd prefer a lego Thunderbolt though

Presumably, if it were supported, LEGO would then approach GW for the rights.

Honestly, lego 40K would be one of the dopest things ever.

But would a Lego Thunderhawk cost more or less than the Forgeworld version?

A plastic thunderhawk? That's a new idea

If you guys are worrying about rights . Lego will surely approach GW for the rights as they did for a back to the future and Ghostbusters set . The problem is with GW they might not allow because lego will compete with it's own business

That'd be my concern as well. Considering how paranoid GW is about their IP, I could see their legal team having psychotic hallucinations about people abandoning 40K minis en masse and using lego variants on the table-top instead.

Given the price of LEGO these days? Unlikely.

Also Lego has said they don't want to make war into a game, so I can't see them releasing a product based on a setting like 40k.

Are you sure they didn't mean real war rather than fictional war?

They’re doing Star Wars in spades, so Sci-Fi war is a-OK.

Star Wars is all light show and people falling over with no marks on their bodies, none of the chainsaws and decapitation of 40k.
