So this is largely based on White Dwarf, with the rumours for relics and detachment thrown in. This is a near pure combat list (though I think shooting will be the strength I want to wait till I see the full Onager rules). Here goes:

So 20 individual units provides target saturation. Lots of high strength CC and Haywire. Some fleshbane, some plasma some sniper. My concernis turn 1 board presence if I go 2nd. But hey glass hammers... What do you think? I don't think that I can really deal with Thunderwolf Black Knightstar. But I recon I nail surpent spam can deal with an AdLance. Should outpoint grav star, run over lictor shame. What do you think I really struggle against?

What I think:
Drop some of those Omnispexes, especially on the arc rifle Vanguard. You want to target vehicles, and unless it's a skimmer, you won't see many relevant cover saves. Arc Weapons kill heavy stuff which won't jink.

If you go with Plasma Calivers, give those Vanguard a full squad. A single caliver is worth more than 3 models - you want as many ablative wounds as possible so they can kill themselves instead of being killed

Also, that's a gakload of Cavaliers; I'd consider actually giving the Ballistarii some Serpentas for the cover reduction instead of the omnispexes for the footsloggers.

Also, no Onagers? Not bringing those is almost a crime. A 10/1 blast for 115pts last I heard on a 4++ platform? How can one pass that up?

The arc rifles are also to deal with Serpent spam, and Necron AV13, the omnispex is just great for the points. I agree Calivers work best in 10 man squads but this is a combat list so I wanted MSU spam as much as possible.

The volume of dragoons is for CC again. If the Serpenta worked on a hit I would take it on all Dragoons. The fact you need an unsaved wound or HP to get the benefit makes it just not worth its points compared to an omnispex.

Onagers look decent, but not mind blowing. It is only a small blast (compared to say a Vindicator) and to get the 4++ you're investing 345 points into a unit that can only target 1 thing a turn. Given that the Tournament scene consists largely of 3 things - MSU, invisistars and Knights there is nothing really great to target with 345 points of tank.

Your formations are correct.

That's a lot of units for kill points missions; does your format have those? Also all of those Ironstrider models are expensive.
