Hey guys, I bought the new Bloodthirster set and modeled him with the axe, I added him to the list via BattleScribe and seen the axe is actually a str. D weapon! I'm wondering if he is legal in normal games and where I can find the updated rules, the rules that came with him were fantasy only.

Sure is legal! Buy the new Deamonkin codex.

There were dataslates for the new bloodthirsters in a recent white dwarf.

Do you know what white dwarf it is in?
Also rippy; does it HAVE to be used in the new daemonkin book, or can I just it in my only-daemons list?

The ones printed in White Dwarf are specifically for the Daemons codex.

Apologies, this has already been answered but yes, you can use it in normal Deamons as well.

Right on guys, thanks! Looking forward to it! Last question though: Would you guys be okay if someone had a Battlescribe printout with the rules and just used that instead of the White dwarf, or would I have to buy that to make it "legal" to use for my army?

I wouldn't accept it in place of a codex, but yes, I would accept a battlescribe printout over a WD though for sure.

Alright. I have the full codex for daemons and didnt want to have to get that WD, my battlescribe datasheets AND my codexs just to make that model useable haha

Other than the weapon, it's statline is the same as a normal thirster. It has rage though, giving you a fluffy 8A on the charge.

You can download the wd as a digital edition. It doesn't cost particularly much.
