I posted in my gallery pictures of my Castigator as a WIP since I didn't get the base done, after agonizing with how I was going to pull it off I got scared and played it safe going with a shock wave pattern since I can't find a nice clean way to emulate dirt and rock being kicked up. It's a very basic paint job with no weathering.

I hand sculpted the base using the stock base, sculpley, broken plaster pieces and green stuff.

Tempest blade has a deflagrate rule so I imagined the attack being similar to ifrit summon from final fantasy 7 thus the flame. I think that is what you're asking?

The fire was made by drawing a flame template then cutting it out on a piece of plastic cup; then straightening the plastic and gluing it to the blade then use ample CA glue and a bowl of water to cure the out side. When the glue fully dries it will cure uneven due to the water bath and give it some texture.

Whoa! That's the most dynamic pose I've seen for that model, the sword looks flippin' (flamin'?) brilliant too!

As I've just typed in another thread, it never ceases to amaze me how much milage modelers seem to get out of the Knight Titan kits!

The kit is SO open I'm surprised more hasn't been done with it, I'm working on an Acheron ATM ( http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/644550.page#7750841 ) as well as a case to carry them/display them in.

I'm surprised it hasn't been said already, but it reminds me of the Xenomorph from Alien. I think its the ammo belt that looks like a tail in one of the pics.
