Don't Know if Dakka Dakka has much of a blood bowl presence. But here is a new team on indiegogo

I have the previous team from these guys and there miniatures are amazingly cast.

I second that! Laia & Ian really love what they do.

Sculpts = casts (not always the case), they kept to the time frame, casts were awesome, communication was very good, in short: A pleasure from A to Z.

Yes, it is indiegogo and no, this is no Reaper Bones-get-buckloads-of-gak-for-free, but yes, this is totally what crowd-funding was made for.

They look very nice, very characterful ! There are some really good 'Fantasy Football' team sculpts about these days.

Yes, but the illusion that your money is more safe with Kickstarter after a campaign ends, with the given delivery times, is exactly that: An illusion.

PS: I have backed 12 or 13 crowdfunding campaigns, roughly half of them on indiegogo, and I never got disappointed.

Anecdotal evidence against opinion, though, so in the end you need to make up your mind yourself.

I got my indiegogo stuff way before, and I'm taking within 2 weeks of the end of the campaign though once I waited three months. Yet my RH from ks is still not here.

I've only received 2 of the 6 things I've backed via ks. Though I should get Fragged Empire soon.

It was ....pretty under the radar. The sukubus (name of the company) is not amazing at advertising. I barely learned about it an hour before it ended and it ran for 2 months.

In regards to indiegogo. The 2 projects I have backed in indiegogo ran finished and i got my stuff faster than ANYTHING I've backed on ks, I'm not saying KS is bad..but neither is indigogo as far as I'm concerned.

I might email them and see if I can get a set but probably after the campaign.


I'd say the idea of KS and Indiegogo and sites like fund me are not so bad but they can be used by known conmen/ women and well it's hard to get any kind of legal action against that person or persons.
Or they produce sub standard content and there's very little you can do.

Completely agreed Migoo. I will however say that these guys are a fantastic example of it done right.

Good communication..Product was actually better than the renders.

For 2 people doing their own thing they really impressed me.

And funded!!

Also.. apparently if they get 55 Warren +1 (Warren being me) comments on this they add a new stretch goal.

I think it's quite tame, if you don't like it don't buy but please don't ruin others fun, there's far to much of that going on recently.
