Well, firstly, i'd like to say that it's not a post about how bad GW is and that i'm ragequitting 40k and stuff like this. No, i like the game and sincerely think that the current (7-th) edition is one of the best rulesets for 40k so far and that the most current books bar eldar are good.
Nevertheless, i'm interested in trying alternative game systems using my beloved orkses. Note that different type of gear like special weapons and jumppacks and misc items are not an issue cause i often scratch-build them. Here's what i've got:
AOBR Warboss
Converted Grotsnik (nob)
Converted Painboss (nob)
Converted Wierdboy (nob)
2 converted meks (aobr boyz)
~60 Choppaboyz - part of them are modified a bit to look like kommandoes and some of them are magnetised to become stormboyz at will.
~50 Shootaboyz
~7 guyz with special weaponry - big shootas, rokkits
5 PK nobz - 1 magnetised to wield a rokkit pack and is in a stormboy pose
2 Choppanobz
10 grots with a runtherd
A truck with a huge converted rokkit
4 magnetised rokkit packs built of plastic clay - Work in progress - making up to 10
5 big guns - lobbas/kannons built of plastic clay
3 big guns (ww2 artillery guns) - can be fielded as any of the variants
IG comsquad with a banner (suddenly)
Might lay my hands on AOBR koptas, more nobz and probably a bunch of lootas/burnas in the near future
So, are there any game systems you could suggest?

OnePage40k.
Its like a faster simpler 40k ruleset. And also shares great similarities with the producer's other game systems, and allows for crossovers.
Not played their version of kill team yet, but it looks good.
It's not for everyone, but I thought I might just put it out there.

You might be able to use the Orks as Marauders in Deadzone.. and there is always Gorkamorka..

You could play Mantic Games Warpath game. It's got a faction called Marauders who are basically Orks in every way.
It's still in beta but it looks like a more streamlined game. Their Deadzone game also includes Marauders, but it is more of a small scale skirmish game.

I use my left over GW figures with 'No Stars in Sight' ruleset.
It's platoon sized forces (20-30 figures and a couple of vehicles) thats very Hard scifi, focus in more on positioning, command and pinning unit with gunfire.
However the auther is writing a more scifi adventure style ruleset called starstike.
Otherwise I've heard good things about Rogue Planet.

I would have to agree with Dravis about Rogue Planet. Of course, I may be a bit biased. The PDF version is 40% off today on Wargame Vault as the Deal of the Day.
You could always checkout a full screen preview of the Derelict Planet Edition if you wanted to get an idea of what the game is about [and see some incredible art!].

Well for 'No Stars In Sight' keep in mind that its more hard scifi, so less close combat orientated and no psi magic, so for Chaos and blood angels it would depend on the units.
It does however have some pretty cool rules for exo-suit and power armour infantry - giving these kind of soldiers very different playstyle. You could have an force of 3 terminaters counting as power armour take on a platoon of IG for example.

Hey, "Tomorrow's War" is what you're looking for. Its got a great mechanism for dealing with different troop types. Instead of having a set value that you have to roll to get a result it uses different dice-types to represent different troop quality. For example, instead of rolling, say, a 4+ to hit you roll-off with your opponent; highest roll wins! That means both players are directly involved at just about every moment of the game.
I'm currently working on a TW conversion for 40K. For example, Orks are a base D6; Marines are a base D8. So a mob of 10 Orks shooting at a unit of 5 Marines would roll 10 D6. The closest Marine model would have to roll against the highest dice with his D8; then so-on for the next closest Marine model. Loose the roll-off and the Marine model is removed as a casualty. Win the roll-off and the Marine model saves. Its that simple. The defender gets a modifier for cover and range, and bonuses for special equipment like artificer armour or power-fields. In close combat models also get bonuses for equipment. A crude CC weapon (pipe, chain, knife, etc) gives the model an extra D4 in CC; a chain weapon gives an extra D6; a power weapon gives an extra D8; specialty war-gear can give higher bonuses, D10s and even D12's. Command models get a step-up dice type. For example Nobs are a base D8, Vet. Srgt.s are base D10, etc. The system eliminate the need for a lot of stats, charts, and mechanics. Its quick, clean, intuitive, and loads of fun!

Warpath will work for both IG (Corporation) and Blood Angels (all SM armies as Enforcers or Forgefather Dwarves). I'm sure when the Warpath KS hits in the near future (within a year, maybe), they'll have rules for plague Enforcers, aka Chaos Marines. I haven't played the Warpath system yet, but their KoW has been hailed by a lot of folks who've made the company switch as being hands down better than WHFB, so I'm hoping Warpath will feel similarly good. Try it out!
Marauders and SMs can be used in Deadzone as well, as was pointed out, which is a smaller scale game similar to Necromunda, and this is a full game.

I would say dead zone, it's easier to get people into it.

Could play Space Hulk with them. Proxy them in as the Stealers and go nuts. Fluff wise it suits very well and you could use your boss characters as the Broodlord etc.
With a few house rules you could even use other units and make them shoot as opposed to pure hth for the Stealers.

People have all ready mentioned the big ones.
However, if you really wanted to get crazy you could find yourself a copy of Stargrunt II.
I also recommend that you take a look at Wargames Vault and Free Wargames Wikia for mor eoptions.

As has been mentioned, Warpath is the easiest to try since the rules are free and there are already analogues for many of the most popular GW factions with more to come. Deadzone is another option, but you're only going to have about 10 figs on the table.
Tomorrow's War and Star Grunt are possibilities, but they're going to give you a much more "hard" sci-fi experience that in my experience doesn't at all capture chop-chop assault heavy feel of 40k. However, TW is a good game, especially if you can find someone with experience to play with with as the rulebook is gorgeous, but not terribly well written.

You could build your own game of Space Crusade. White Dwarf 134 had rules for playing orks as the good guys, but there are also lots of homebrew rules and expansions online. Sounds like all you need is a board.
