uk and even that was many years ago.
So not actually a customer of ours, not actually ever placed an order, not actually had any experience with Wayland Games, but just happy to pitch in anyway. Thanks for clearing that up.

And what is worse Wayland can't deny it. If they do they are lying.
Lots of options you've given us there. Either we agree that the nonsense you claim is true (which would be a lie), or we deny it in which case you have provisionally had us tarred and feathered anyway.
Well if we're damned either way, let me at least go for the truth. As is common with many business accounts, Wayland makes absolutely no interest on money paid to us, particularly as any such money paid by customers is immediately applied to orders of stock.
There's a reason folks won't tell you Achaylus72, it's because it isn't true.

Thraxas Of Turai wrote:I always think that an order current stock with Wayland should come with a days, hours, minutes and seconds countdown (possibly a months and years ticker too?) until delivery like their pre-orders....
My one caveat would be that friends who have ordered non
GW stock seem happy with the service and eventual delivery.
I thought a Gallifreyan, with *those* eyebrows would have enjoyed the concept of time.

Indeed, which is why it says "As I've said elsewhere"
When you have two threads largely saying the same thing (especially as you have the same people posting the same comments), it made sense to likewise replicate our own comments on both just in case people missed it.

"The offenders have been excoriated." Like, okay. That's cool but, you don't need to speak like you're a medieval knight talking to us lowly peasants.
That is mainly why I don't order through Wayland.
You got a medieval knight and peasant dynamic from my use of the word 'excoriated'? And that's why you don't order from us?
Apologies, in that case I revise it to: "the member of staff has been spoken to in line with company guidelines and an non-permanent note has been appended to her performance review pending re-evaluation in four weeks time."
Is it more accurate? Yes. But is it less fun to type? Oh yes.

I can understand that you are trying to sort out these issues you are having, and it's admirable that you are engaging with the community in order to fix problems. Not every company would do this.
Like I said in my email to you, there is a great selection on your site, so hopefully you can sort out the ordering issues so it isn't a problem in the future.
No problem Lord Kroll. You'll find that I (and the rest of the staff) will try and be as helpful and supportive as we can of people like yourself with genuine problems - especially as it highlights where we need to do better.
As for the rest of the peanut gallery - I usually enjoy having a bit of banter, especially with those that can give as well as receive in the good nature it is intended. Of course there are the frequent flyers on Wayland dakka threads and it's good to have a bit of word play with them too. I genuinely have a whiteboard with poster's names on that I keep score with - especially when they make a particularly funny or insightful post. Even funnier are comments from people who have never even shopped from us, or bought from us two years ago or some such and talk about traffic light systems and other stock systems that we haven't used in years.
But that's just a bit of fun. For the serious posts by customers with concerns about actual orders, I will always respond and try and make it right.
PM me or email me via the support email address and I'll do my very best to sort it out for you.
And to the peanut gallery, I'm back from a restful weekend where I had a brilliant game with my seven year old son at Monopoly and my three year old daughter at Guess Who? (playing board games with your kids is really great, I might even win one day!)
I think I'm ready for you now!
Thanks again.
