My guess is that it's something an independent person/company sculpted up or converted.

It's made by a Russian company going by a number of names on e-Bay. I bought an older set of Nurgle Obliterators from them, back when they were called Hobbycraft. The casts were excellent, with some of the crispest detail I've seen on a resin kit.

I really want to paint it as a tree with mushrooms and call it a Space Troll... Throw it in Fantasy with some of those giant rats with cannons.

Yep, that's from a russian "company".
They specialise on recasts but also do some unique casts that cost way less than standard GW and FW stuff. And sometimes look gorgeous. Like this one.

Looks fantastic. But £30 for a single terminator sized figure makes it more expensive than Forge World. Anyone have a link to the manufacturers web page so I can see if it's cheaper to get them direct. I assume there isn't a problem asking for this, since they are original figures not recasts.

Should wait for some time. Lots of recast groups have been banned in social networks recently. They'll show up soon, i think.

I don't think they have a webpage, they only do business on e-Bay. Have to be patient, I guess, I doubt they've disappeared for good.
And for the record, I had bought the Nurgle Obliterator three-set for $40 or thereabouts, i.e. cheaper than FC obliterators from GW.

Yeah, $40 USD for three from this seller. No clue why these are so expensive. $20 USD. I was thinking of picking them up but went with a pair, the third is still for sale and I might get that one too, of painted Black Legion type Obliterators. Official models and all. Works better with my Red Corsairs than something THAT Nurgled. Anyway, here's the link to the WAY cheaper American version.

I have to say their models look damn nice:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/montastore/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
their storefront only has about 40 models, though.
Anyone know more sellers like this on ebay?

GW's legal team will be all over these.
I am surprised they have survived unscathed so far.

Bad photos as I am at work. It doesnt do this guy justice. Play him with mark of nurgle. But his fluff and paint style is Dark Mech.
I have 5 more of these guys, all different models.

I think a general "substitutes for Obliterators" thread is in order, because those GW ones are disgusting. Granted I like the techy, more robotic look myself, but those models are still pretty bad.

The russian company, and there is a greek one too...their models have better detail than the FW ones and usually less bubbles, and warping in the resin.
