Those are really clever and I assume pretty cheap too. Captured ork specimens? Or tyranid beasties? Maybe add a load of coloured PVA glue and a few bits so it is all murky within? Sorry ideas falling out of my brain right now.

I was actually thinking about getting my hands on some Tyranid Rippers. I think they'd be the perfect size. The main issue is that I don't know anyone who plays Tyranids, so getting my hands on Rippers is a little bit of a pain.
I was alternately thinking about doing bits of necron tech. Head and spinal cord kind of thing.
