Outside of D-weapons, what do you guys think are the best anti-tank weapons in the game?

Haywire

Mostly because IIRC no vehicles have a real immunity to it.

also HPing out is soo much better than going for the 1 shot miracle melta no matter how awesome it is when it does happen.

What I would like to see, but will never happen.

A volcano cannon shoehorned into something tiny like a tracked rapier carrier.

All in all I'd just throw my hat for the Imperial trio, quad rapier lascannons, volcano cannon, or vanquisher cannon.

On moon miranda.

Haywire obviously, getting to "wound" on a 2+ (regardless of AV) against a unit type that typically has no innate saves and fewer "wounds" than MC's do is rather strong.

Meltaguns obviously too.

Rapier Laser Destroyers are great as well.

Just about anything getting into base contact with a vehicle is usually amazing anti-tank as well, given how 95% are getting hit on rear armor, and almost all of those are rear AV10. Powerfists, Krak grenades, etc are all still incredible AT.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Melta in general is well proven with the right position and timing.

Some tanks and veichals of various races mount some potent anti tank armamernt.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

The skitarii rapid fire haywire gun is definitely a top contender, especially being in an army that can just "decide" to be BS7 on a turn.

I originally came in to say D-scythes without a doubt just by the title, but then read your "no D" addendum.

Haywire is great, of course. I would argue grav is generally better, as a squad will also eat vehicles and it's highly effective against a broad range of targets.

Distortion weapons, obviously, will turn a tank into scrap metal in record time, now.

Fire dragon melta guns

Skiitari haywire guns

Ork MANZ bomb (gak hurts for like...150 points)

Ork KMK (laugh, but that's a S8 AP2 blast on a T7 W4 model for 30pts... And you can buy 2 more wounds per gun for 3 points apiece.)

Sternguard melta bomb just for pure effectiveness

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Non-D weapon wise for AT work. No melee weapons cause... There are too many to count and general... they all work the same so you can't really separate them. (Well I suppose you could separate them but meh)

Its my list but here goes.

Long Range

1. Vanquisher (longest range, essentially a Melta that can reach out and kill a tank at 72 inchs)
2. Medusa Siege Gun + Bastion Breacher (far shorter range than Vanquisher but MUCH more brute force to make up for it)
3. Transuranic Aquebus. Its a MAN-PORTABLE weapon and a Sniper Rifle, with ARMORBANE. It potentially could get up to 16 on the pen (duel 6s on the armor bane roll) and it reaches out to 60 inchs away. A full squad of Rangers can take 3 of them. Imagine stuffing a whole bunch of Ranger Squads with these into a Stormlord? Vulcan Mega bolter with the Transuranic Arqubuses in the back and the Galvanic Rifles adding more shots (with precision shots) to the already bullet spitting monster that is the Stormlord.
4. Neutron Laser weapons: The Neutron Laser on the Onager. The platform it sits on boosts it up.
5. Laser Destroyers and their Variants. Essentially the beefier non-turbo laser big brother to Lascannons. Covers the Rapier.
6. Railgun.
7.Earth Shaker Cannon. Its range, ST and Ordinance can't go wrong. Its an Artillery piece sure, but it can work as an AT weapon even if its not dedicated to the task
8. Hunter killer missile. Unlimited Range puts it on the map. but that's it.

Shorter Range (definition is variable. but generally these have shorter range than the ones above)
Melta of every kind: They only barly ekk out over Haywire due to the bigger melta weapons such as the Titan Melta Cannon, or the Errants Thermal cannon (Still a Melta!) or even the Melta Cannon the Hellhound variant can carry and their longer range (only just so due again to their larger size)
Haywire (The Skittarri Arc weapons are all up there together)
Grav
Gauss

Tankbustas can do work with the combo of assault 1 Str 8 rokkits and can charge for melta bomb spam. Plus the bustas get Tank Hunter so those melta bombs basically can't fail to pen.

With regard to Grav, one thing I only learned recently was that it only takes 2 6s to destroy a 3hp vehicle (since additional immobilised results on an already-immobilised vehicle result in an additional hull point).

Bear in mind that the Vanquisher Cannon is AP2, not AP1.
