@arbiter yeah most of it, it's mostly a tournament army, and why wouldn't people want to play.?? It's not like I'm taking Knights

Arbiter is right no one out side turnaments will play you.

Mass Bikes are worse then the wraithknights because the mass S6 Shooting

Id play against it, people are too sensitive...

Solid list for that type of army.

I think you went over kill on the bikes, if it was me id change maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of them into warp spiders or hawks.

Not convinced by the Hawks why not just get more bikes or a backup Autarch. I would like to see a laser lance on the Autarch (it is useful to sometimes finish stuff off in CC).

Not feeling the 10 man unit either, to big a footprint makes it too hard to hide or avoid combat. Particularly with no Far seer to buff them. I would consider swapping some lasers over to cannons to help the match up vs 4 Wraithknights (changes that match up from in your favour to a near full gone conclusion).

@chadbrochill17 im really liking the spiders idea i think they are amazing, have to find a way to fit them in. @FlingitNow i think i might drop the hawks and the warlock and take a farseer on bike and have him go with the 10 man squde (guide them, doom a unit..etc

Yep tournament list. That being said, I think your list is not legal. If I'm wrong no big deal, I don't pretend to know every formation combination possible. To open up the Crimson Death formation and 2 Wraith Constructs. you need a Decurion formation thus you need a core formation, which you'll choose windrider host. To use the windrider host you'll need a farseer on jetbike and a viper. Your gonna need to drop something to make up a minimum 140 point injection to make your core formation. Also the warlock must be taken as a warlock conclave, so I think they can't join units since they are not independant characters, unless they changed that and I missed it. The Autarch is a command auxillery so he is fine if you choose to keep him, but the swooping hawks can't be taken alone in a Decurion formation. You need aspect host formation with minimum and maxium of 3 squads of aspect warriors.

yes and no.

he is fine with the Crimson Hunter formation but cannot get the hemlocks unless he adds Vyper/farseer, takes a CAD or plays Unbound. By the looks of it, he's not playing the Windrider formation, just a CAD so is perfectly fine

so, it's one CAD and and formation. Perfectly legal. Formatting it with a formation breaking up the CAD did not aid clarity.

The warlock is a sergeant-like upgrade for the windrider sqaud. Also legal.

You can take any formation without the decurion-like parent formation. It's quite explicit.

No advantage to using the craftworld warhost fomation here. auto-run 6" is not useful for bikes. Whereas obsec bikes in a standard CAD are good.

Youre going to quickly find out that the number of bikes you have will not fit comfortably on the table and allow them to maneuver properly. Id find points for spiders by dropping a few squads of bikes and lowering the 10 man squad down a tad. Smaller squads are infinitely more efficient than one large squad because the smaller squads wont over kill things, and if they get shot at you can only lose 3-5 instead of 10 in one go.

Ideal spider squad size imo is 7-8 id try and take 2 squads.

Over kill my friend is never a bad thing otherwise why are there stuff like Baneblades and Stormhammers?

It is not a bad list but a little fragile during turn 1. A solid alpha strike list has a very good shot to wipe out a large portion of your bikes if they get the drop on you.

IMO your list would be significantly stronger if you took 3 artillery battery units instead of the swooping hawks (or a 3 scatbikes from the unit of 10) so that you have the option of going full reserves with your bikes and flyers against good alpha strike or drop pod lists. The autarch works from reserves BTW.

@ansacs if I put nothing on the board first turn at then end of first turn I lose. How would I go about preventing that if I did want to put my bikes in reserve

That is why I recommended 3 vauls wrath batteries. That would give you 3 T7 units to keep yourself on the board turn 1. GtG in some ruins and spread them out so the opponent has to spread out to hurt them.

hahhaah. i opened this thread at work and almost choked on my coffee.... its like comicly funny but awesome at the same time. If i seen someone pull that gak out i think i would leave the store laughing. (not bailing out of the game, i mean if i seen 2 people playing and someone pulled the list out)
