What Imperial vehicle seems to screw the laws of physics the most? Leman Russ? Baneblade? Rhino? Imperial Knight? Discuss!

Stormraven. Somehow it's aerodynamic enough for atmospheric flight. The design I'm pretty sure would just tumble forwards.

Also the giant air intake on top. You normally have those to feed engines in the rear of the hull. Nope, those are on the wings. I left mine off when I built it. Used a smaller turret as well.

There are flying ungainly bricks, and then there is the stormraven.

Nice stats on it though...

Honorable mention goes to “where are my legs” on the DA speeder. And the age old question of how you fit 10 marines into a rhino.

The Stormraven is definitely a front runner. It looks like a flying clothes iron. Honorable mention is the Stormtalon, which is a potato with wings. Its giant thrusters make its flight capabilities plausible, though.

The flamers on the land raider crusader would do it. AP3. They'll fit in the ashtray then.

Leman Russ. The cannon breech would stick out the back of the turret, making the gun impossible to fire. In addition, no suspension.

The engines on it already have air intakes as well built into them so I'm not sure what it's for. Air conditioning?

When considering the Stormraven, I'm reminded of Buzz Lightyear's quote in Toy Story something along of the lines of, 'anything can fly if it goes fast enough', though it should have supersonic.

Then there is the Rhino. When you are power armored you don't have to worry about comfort or suffocating your other occupants. You could 'stack them up like cordwood' in the back.

Personally, my choice would be the walkers. anything with a tiny joint that supports tons of equipment tends to strain credulity.

Actually, that one isn't too bad from a "working in RL" point of view. Utter rubbish from a "military vehicle" point of view, but...

The Lemun Russ is the worst due to its ground clearance. The Baneblade is actually a decent tank design.

Titans actually are feasible, assuming you manage to get gyro-stabilizers that can handle something that big. Same with the Dreadknight and Knight Titans. They're perfectly fine designs from a mechanical standpoint.

Warhound is very front-heavy, it would need a tail to balance it for that to be true.

The whole idea behind the penitent engine or the exorcists are…

"Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. [...] We will continue to diversify the cast of characters we portray [...] so everyone can find representation and heroes they can relate to. [...] If [you don't feel the same way], you will not be missed"

I guess you never purchased the Imperial Armour Volume 2?

It has a picture of seating arrangements. I'd have to find my book (It's only 1st edition though), but IIRC it 3 seating on each seat on the sides. 2 standing in the middle and the last 2 at the cupolas. The diagram was nifty...

Space Marine jump pack. The thrust does not push from the Marine's centre of mass. It would simply pitch him onto his face.

It apparently has thrusters to slow its decent shortly before landing then power armour is meant to take care of the rest of it, which is why it used to (or maybe still does) mention that it's basically a space marine only thing. Still it's like dropping them in a piano box with a few fans on the bottom to slow it.

Then all we need to figure out is the ion shield? And who gets to strap themselves to the rapid firing battlecannon to act as loader.

Actually, the ion shield could be a reactive armor. Covering the chassis with Claymores could function both as a reactive armor and as a functional stomp attacked

According to HH5 imperial titans actually feature gravity manipulation tech to keep them stable, so I'd say they're reasonably plausible from a mechanical standpoint.
