After inspiration from another recent thread.... I wanted to ask if anyone buys warhammer visions? I don't know anyone who does, occasionally my wife gets me a copy when she is out getting the shopping and only because she thinks it's the same as WD and I havnt the heart to tell her. I think it's rubbish some think it's good and that's ok but I just wanted to know if we can find many subscribers or regular buyers out there in dakka land

Nope. I buy the weekly one on occasion when they put something in it that makes it a good buy (Assassin rules etc)

There's a story that goes around my local store, which from what I understand is true. A local club was gifted about 10 copies each of around 7 issues of visions. They gave them away free to their members, and no sod wanted them

I would have taken a free issue, but then I take anything that's free so its not a good yard stick. I can't get the weekly as its only sold in GW stores which is annoying.

Then what do you call THIS

defeat. It would seem that stupidity is as eternal as war.'

I buy every issue of Visions. I love looking at the pictures of models, and it often gives me inspiration for painting. Then again, I also buy all the painting guides, not for the painting portion (or at least, not much), but because of all the extra photography at the front.

I don't subscribe to Visions, because I don't want it bent or mangled in the mailbox.

I actually DON'T buy every White Dwarf. Most of them, but if the whole issue is about Fantasy or Chaos, I'll often skip it. At the end of the year, when my FLGS has all the unsold issues at $1 a piece, I'll pick up any missing ones that I can.

I do not work for GW in any fashion. When I edit my post, either I've misspelled something, punctuation, or I'm fixing swearing. Oops.
