Overall, I'm disappointed that most armies are essentially monobuild. Space marines have a couple (Drop Pods, Bikes, Cents), Eldar have 2 (Scat Bikes, and Warp Spiders) and Necrons have an interesting variety, but basically all other armies are mono build or just rare.

Unlike previous years, when it was Codices Wave Serpent, Croissants, Bikerstorm and Centurionstar?

I feel like last year was noticeably more diverse. Serpent spam was as common as Scatbikes, but beyond several very, very common builds there was noticeably more diversity.
Here are last years lists: http://www.40kings.de/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/FULL_Lists_ALL_Countries_ETC_2014.pdf

Having played last year and attending again this year, I'll say the lists feel about the same to me. That being said, you may be noticing more diversity last year because we allowed 6th edition at the last minute, which caused teams who traditionally work on armies/team strategy for ~9 months to redesign in about a month. This meant the meta hadn't really settled out yet and teams didn't have enough time likely to converge on a common answer of what was felt to be best.

ESC, a pre-event singles tournament, is done (results here). Germany's David "Death_Rat" Szymanski won and got the full 100/100 points with eldar.

It looks like Torrent of Fire is doing individual game results for the main tournament, although I'm not sure if it'll show the matchups on player level (link).

We'll have individual matchups as well as team pairings available as the teams enter them (most likely post game).

US's individual pairings are available already:

Aleong (SW/DA) vs Esteban (TAU/TAU)
Gonyo (AM/BA) vs Escriche (SM/ASS)
Chester (TAU/IK) vs Mateo (ELD)
Hoerger (NEC) vs Vivo (SW/SM)
Clauss (DE/ELD) vs Benito (NEC/ELD)
Nanavati (CD) vs del Rio (CD/TYR)
Nayden (TYR/DE) vs Calvo (IK/DE)
Kopach (ELD/LOTD) vs Macia (INQ/NEC)

#'Murica. Let's finally do this thing! What an absolute A team. I have to believe we have as good a chance as we've ever had.

Hey Chip, maybe I'm just being stupid, but it seems like the scores are marked as even across the board (20-20, 7-7, 3-3, et al). Hard to tell results of round 1. What am I missing?

The layout could be a little better. The line only shows the single persons score, and their opponent. You would reference their opponents score on their own line above/below. It was a last minute addition, so we didn't have much time to work out the UI kinks, but something that we think will be awesome for these team style events.

Also, for ETC, the score is always a difference of 20. So 20-0, 17-3, 15-5, 12-8, 10-10, etc.

Hmm, ok. I still don't see any way to differentiate who had which score, because players from the belligerent nations have the same score number before or after their names. The only unique number seems to be their role number, but that is not out of 20, so I'm not sure what that means.

Just trying to help you out by pointing out bugs early. Really appreciate your hard work on the platform.

The layout isn't perfect but it's really not that hard to figure who got what I'm the pairings. Also, 1 point off 86 for murrica.

The players line lists their individual score twice. But if you look at their opponent, you can match it up with their opponents line and see the score.

Definitely not perfect and an area to work on.

So the U.S. Team is doing really well. They are in second place going into the last day and play Germany in the morning for top rank. Great job guys and best of luck for the day to come.

Results are 3 posts up Jy2. USA had a rough last day against 2 the best and fell to 7th. The only team they played that wasn't in the top 10 was Spain.

Really specific question but does any one know how Nick Nanavati lost to centstar 20-0 that doesn't really make sense.

Probably unlucky dice. I've played against a very similar daemon army like Nick's and I nearly tabled him because he didn't get Endurance. Caught his plaguestar into combat with my centstar. Then Banishment and force weapons did he rest.

I'd love to see the censtar list. If it has a significant GK component it will have some serious level of warp charge.
