hey guys! is it normal that my Gehenna's Gold shows too much redness through ?
when I put it on the Lich Priest it almost made things bronze instead of gold.
This might be my mistake on understanding what exactly this color should represent.

IIRC, Gehenna's Gold is supposed to be a warmer gold that is closer to a redish color. This is how is is supposed to be I believe

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard. |

Hey,
I find gehennas gold is more of a bronze gold than a gold gold but I don't recall it ever looking red like you have shown in the pic. My only suggestion is to shake the pot wayyyy more before using it. Shake Shake Shake Shake. It's a pretty important step if you have not already done it. If that isn't the problem maybe you got a bad pot.

First, like Redflex said, shakeshakeshake! stir it with a toothpick to be sure.
Now that being said, the only gold in GW's line that actually looks like GOLD is Auric gold. Now there is Retribution which is pretty gold. Liberator's is a warm platinum or silvery gold.
Gehanna's is a very reddish gold, like a Chinese red gold. Balthazar is a copper, really.

thanks guys! I ended up going over with with Reaper New Gold , although pictures online do show the gold being more gold-ish.
Side note , I have a badger paint mixer and it looks like the "gold" settled towards the bottom but after prolonged shaking, string and such, no avail.

I added a pair of copper BBs to mine and it agitates it to a beautiful consistency with some vigorous shakes. But yes, that much red is very common when it settles.

You do not want to use something like a BB. You want to use a non-reactive material or you risk losing the pot if the agitator rusts/corrodes/etc.

Auric armor gold I find to be the closest thing to a true gold color that I have been using. It also covers better.

It is a more red type gold, but it looks like you need to give that pot a good stirr.. I noticed a lot with the newest line of GW paints... shaking doesnt always do the trick.

AirSoft BB's work as pretty good agitators I've noted.

As long as they're nonreactive they should be okay.
