Subject: Eye of the Gods vs The Tomb King’s Curse

Annoyance of Netlings

If a wounded Chaos lord kills Tomb king which rule goes first?
Eye of the Gods:
The life of a ChaosLord is a quest for power, and with each
mighty foe slain they take one step closer to immortality. Each time a Chaos Lord
slays a Monster or Hero, roll a dice. If the result is 2 or more, this model heals
D3 Wounds. If this model is already at full health, increase his Wounds Characteristic
by 1 instead.
or
The Tomb King’s Curse:
A powerful curse hangs over these mummified lords. If a Tomb King is slain, the unit that inflicted
the final wound upon him immediately suffers D3 mortal wounds
It didnt matter in our game, but what your thought?
Chaos argument: You have to get killed before you die.(My god watches me)
Tomb kings agrument: It states immediately. (The curse is already in play)

How about they both go at the same time? So you roll both dice and heal or take the difference.

By taking both effects at the same time you´ll have the same result as if eye of the god goes first.
That would allow the chaos lord to have a greater chance of surviving if he, lets say he had 2 wounds left before combat.
Cause he cant resurrect with this skill, can he?

one says slain
the other immediately after the final wound and slain
i would say slain is after final wound and slain, so curse first then heal

You don't have an option on your poll for them to happen at the same time. You should. That's my answer to your question.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

If you're arguing that the chaos lord can't roll eye of the gods, because rules on dead models don't work anymore, then the tomb king curse would never trigger either.
Roll them at the same time.

Agreed, just do them both, see where you end up.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
