Who is ready for a movie that has so little to do with the original, that one wonders if Gareth Edwards was involved at all in its production (despite him being listed as an Executive Producer on the film).

And yeah. Just the title alone and the plot summary tells you everything you'll see in the movie. It's subtitle should have been "Monsters: Cliche Continent."

The original Monsters was epic. Despite its low budget it was awesome with great use of scenes.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

Super disappointed by it, came in expecting monster fights, didn't get almost any. This tried to have a touching story, but forgot to make the characters relatable or even interesting imo.

Worse. Atleast godzilla had a monster fight. Here it was "OH NOES, MANSTER! PEW PEW PEW! WE KILLED IT YAAAAY! GG" The only giant monster they kill iirc takes less than a minute to kill, using ARs, a shotgun, and a GL.
