Really interesting

Its really had to give a synopsis, there are just too many good ideas.

Randomised aliens, galaxy altering consequences of research, real diplomacy, rebellious colonies.........

Apparently the target release date is Feb 16.

I really dig paradox's games. I love space stuff too... totally looking forward to this.

The release date has been confirmed as May the 9th.

I suspect that this game will revolutionise the 4X genre.

Spent the afternoon watching videos about this game and am BLOWN AWAY.

Between this and No Man's Sky, this year looks to be an amazing and significant time.

Paradox is really becoming the best developer in gaming.

I am... mostly hopeful!

On the other hand, it's paradox. So it'll probably be a bit of a mess at first release.

We'll see how it turns out. I love 4x games. I love 4x space empire games doubly so. However while I generally respect Paradox and appreciate they put out really quality products, I almost never playing enjoy their games.

Been watching their Twitch streams of gameplay, looks extremely fun!

It certainly looks impressive, and addresses one major fault with the Civ Games (among others) in that end game is just you waiting for the game to say you won, although you know it, and even the AI knows it. And it doesn't seem terribly heavy on system requirements, which is something it will have over No Man's Sky. I guess now I have to decide if I want this more or No Man's Sky, but I'm probably leaning towards this.

Lable me intresting and eager to get my hands on it, Paradox games tends to tickle my fancies in all the rigth way.

So, is anyone preordering it? I've been looking at the Nova Edition on Steam, and some of the bonuses are cool. Preordering I'm general promises five(?) other species, including a xenomorph based one, while the Nova Edition also has a spider empire, among other things. Tempting, very tempting.

The bonuses are either entirely cosmetic or pretty useless for a significant price increase. I will probably pre-order the basic edition as I will probably buy it on day 1 anyway.

I will be doing this sometime next week most likely, Paradox games are always worth supporting. I am very pleased with the great varity of races and such, since hopefully this will make space exploration vastly more intresting. And probably more dangerous as well

Soooooooo, a 40k mod for when this game comes out, EPIC, imagine you start at the imperium own almost all the map and have to try to fight off the various races, then out of nowhere, the nids turn up, now you have to decide whether or not to go full whack at them asap or carry on trying to hold out, this game will be amazing.

Pre-ordered nova edition. Been watching the streams and such and just can't wait.

I just got the Nova Preorder. I now happily await my Spider Empire and xenomorphs.

Whoa! Not a lot of Nice looking neighbours it seems. It makes only more determined to find the planets of the amazones!

Paradox has been running a weekly lets play for a while now (its up to episode 13) which provides a lot of information on the game.

Given that I have watched all of them (which average at about 40 minutes each) I have sat through about 9 hours of other people playing a game, a 4X game at that. I think that says quite a lot about how much I am looking forward to the 9th of May.

This game looks amazing plus I love Paradox, so this is going to be a no-brainer. Will most likely also pre-order the nova edition, just for the spiders.

Here I was, playing Solitaire on my phone when an ad for Stellaris popped up. As if I needed reminding that I have to wait another four days...

Already got 4 hours tucked away and I'm loving it already.

IGN gave it a 6 and I was worried for a nanosecond.

Then I remembered it's IGN and lol'd as I downloaded this amazing product.

Still slowly figuring it out. Looks deep but I have only had an hour to play so far.

I can't wait for the chance to play this later tonight. I plan in making some weird hybrid of Cthulhu and xenomorphs if possible. Not sure how I'd find a playstyle fitting to that, but I'll find something.
