Subject: Crusade of Fury. (insert your forces into the crusade, for or against)
I wouldn't say my Eldar are super powerful. They're on equal footing with the rest of the factions that are present. My Eldar's main goal is to eliminate the leader of 2BJ1's Iron Warriors. You probably need to talk to Smudge about your faction's overall goals in the system, who your main foe might end up being (like mine is the Iron Warriors, or at least they're supposed to be), and where you're going to start off
Spoiler:
I'm going to wait for the updated map before I plan long term goals. If I have any

Spoiler:
It's not a bad idea to have a long-term goal anyway for your faction. It helps to have an idea of why they're here. Are your Necrons here to take reclaim some worlds for their dynasty? Are they here to defend their borders against the lesser races? Are they here because they heard the Eldar are here? Even before the new map is up it's not a bad idea to have some type of goal in mind for your faction.

"Rak'than, report to my chambers immidiately!" Kageros roared into his communicator.
A few seconds later-"My Lord, in case you're not aware, my chambers are next to yours." Replied Rak'than, slightly annoyed.
"SILENCE FOOL!"
His words echoed through the room for several minutes.
"I have a task for you Rak, we must convene a message to this New Order."
"What shall I do my Lord?"
Eyeing Rak'than suspiciously. "Launch a boarding party at their flagship"
With a look of confusion."My Lord, we have no boarding vessels..."
"I see, then crash one of our Dirge class raiders into its bridge"
"It will be done my Lord." Rak'than left the room wondering why he let the Phaeron be Phaeron in the first place.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Tactical Display Room---
"Zyfek, have you received my orders?" Asked an eager Rak'than.
"Yes, Nemesor, it is nearing the vessel as we speak." Replied Zyfek with a metallic chuckle.
"Good, put it on the screen I wish to our Phaerons will be done."
The two looked at each other before releasing a bellowing laugh. They watched as the raider approached the massive vessel.
Glyphs with all kinds of information appeared on the screen warning all who watched that impact was now imminent.
Everyone leaned forward in suspense... only for the ship to explode against its hull and do absolutely nothing.
Rak'than stood, not surprised in the least.
"If you will excuse me, I most notify Kageros" And with that, the Lesser Court went back to their duties.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Phaeron's Chamber---
"My Lord, the attack was unsuccessful, it was a major defeat"
"HAHAHAHA", bellowe the Phaeron, "An attack? You misunderstand Nemesor, that was simply a message."
"A message my Lord?" Replied Rak'than with a skeptic look on his death mask.
"Yes, you see, that was simply to rouse their attention, they will not expect the coming storm now." Kageros said with a smirk.
"Go back to your duties Rak, we will need them again soon enough."
Spoiler:
There we go, my first move. If it's not completely clear I flew a small ship into Tactical_Spams flagship. It was rolled as a major defeat.
Much like a fly hitting a car.

Deep in the bowels of Kagrenz, something gargantuan stirs. It's massive shape is indistinguishable in the darkness. Only faint shimmers of light enter the cavern, from the countless waterfalls that emerge screaming from the sides of the cave. Silvered droplets rain down, only to be swallowed by darkness and shadow. The behemoth shifts slightly, and the cavern trembles.
One of it's pack emerge from a water channel, and bounds down to the leviathan. Nothing can be hear, save the cascading water, but nothing needs to be hear. The smaller creature skitters away, and the giant shifts again, raising it's massive head to the roof of the cave.
The Sky has come for us.
The Deep will burn here, poisoned by the Sky-creatures. The Deep must triumph, as we have countless times before. Darkness lies behind us, the burning Sky ahead.
Closer they come, burning holes in the Deep with their Sky-Fire, destroying without remorse.
Since the Deep and Sky have warred, the Deep has built and grown in the Sky's shadow. As always, the Deep must build in the Sky's shadow.
Never more.
Come, swallow the Sky.
Consume it's strength and bless it with darkness. The Sky-creatures will drown in the Deep, their lights of intolerance and pain soothed and muted by the void.
The Deep will take it all. The Deep will be all.
The Sky will be blotted out, forgotten, swallowed. Let naught remain but the Deep.
The Deep will drown the Sky.
Far away, in the cold, desolate, darkness of the void, on the cusp of Kagrenz's light, something drifts. Something hears.
And something moves.
Many somethings move.
They/them

Lilliana read the report from the senior Ranger on Gondorf's Passage with a grimace. The Webway Gate to where Archarus hid was buried deep in the territory belonging to the foul scions of Chaos on that planet. There was no chance of her Warhost being able to land on that planet without drawing a significant amount of attention and fire. She sat there and pondered as to what she should do. She could hardly leave Archarus alone on his planet, free to plot against her people. But she could not throw away some many precious Eldar lives just to buy a tentative foothold on the planet below, as much as she hated to admit it, Archarus had been saved by random chance of fate. She buried her face in her hands for a few moments, unsure of what course of action needed to be taken. The strands of Fate were unclear, with each consequence of the choices being shrouded in fog. Fate seemed to be conspiring against her to prevent Iybraesil from removing the threat that Archarus posed forever. she sat there for a few silent minutes and despaired, she was at an impasse. Then the vision hit her.
Over on the Western front of this system, a new threat was rising. Its' form was shadowy and indistinct at the moment, but Lilliana sensed that it would be a far more immediate threat to her race's safety. She reluctantly put out the psychic call to all her forces scattered throughout the system to pull back to their ships. The Eldar needed to remain mobile and united, threats had begun to pop up all over the system. Being scatterd would lead to them being hunted down piecemeal. No, it was time to pull the Warhost back together. The Eldar could hardly afford to be unfocused and scattered throughout the system. They had already accomplished much in their short time here, but there was still so many threats to deal with. Whatever this threat was that was going to appear over in the West, it needed to be dealt with swiftly. She allowed herself a small smile, Iybraesil was skilled at striking swiftly. They would hit their foes like Kurnous' arrow. Her next course of action plotted, Lilliana sent a psychic message to her fleet commander to ready her ships for the events that were to come.
Spoiler:
Rolled a failure to land any significant forces on Gondorf's Passage, and the Webway Gate is located DEEP in Slaneeshi territory. Smudge also hinted that something would be popping up in the West that would worry my Eldar, so we're pulling back to our ships so that we're mobile and in once place. Hopefully that's represented on the map when it's done. Also I have a bad feeling about what's stirring under Kagrenz...

It's also worth noting that a "defeat" isn't necessarily a defeat. It just might mean that your action doesn't go as well as you hope. So you may not have blown up his flagship, but you probably got his attention. On a completely different subject, was my blub ok?

Pugarr raised his bolter, looking for anything to come from the many alleys of the hive. His brothers moved swiftly next to him, the only noise was of their metal boots scraping the rockrete ground.
"Movement detected. One block down, fourth window on the right." One astartes said, practically inaudible if not for his built in vox system.
Pugarr glanced at the window, but didn't see anything. Whatever his brother had seen had already moved on.
Without any warning, a man stepped from an alley and fired a single plasma round at the Iron Warriors. Fortunately, his shot was a rash one, and flew over their heads. He never got the chance to fire again. Pugarr had instantly took aim and fired a short burst at the man, tearing his entire torso to shreds with his bolt rounds.
Before the body had a chance to hit the floor, the sound of hooves echoed to the astartes. Pugarr recognized the noise, and his grip tightened on his bolter.
Soon the noise was matched with the creatures themselves, Slaneeshi daemons who were horrific imitations of the mythic centaurs of ancient Terra.
A horde of them charged at the marines, moaning and chortling as they waved crab like appendages at them.
Pugarr unleashed a torrent of shots at them, downing several in the act. Soon the brother to his right, Mordigrim, let loose his melta, creating a sizzling light that left gaping wounds and set the horde alight. If Pugarr thought they were hideous before, now they were utter abominations as they screamed and melted, but still charged on.
Pugarr's bolter ran dry, and he reached for a frag grenade, knowing there was no time to reload. Several brothers soon followed, and multiple explosions rang out as more daemons fell to the ground and lie still.
As soon as the attack had come, it had ended. The daemons seemed to have just vanished, including any remains they had left. Pugarr used this time to reload, and looked for any signs of the Slaneeshi horde. His efforts were in vain, as none showed themselves.
The group would undergo this same event of ambushes that left as often as they appeared, but they managed to clear out a large portion of the hive. In less than one night, the Iron Warriors had fortified an entire hive on Gondorf's Passage.
Spoiler:
Rolled a victory, and now Pugarr is in a slightly better light in Archarus' view. Had some of Slaneesh's followers show up, but the Iron Warriors prevailed.

A small Strike Cruiser exited the warp near the tail end of the New Order fleet. No authentication checks were needed; Everyone knew who the ship belonged to. The ship moseyed through the fleet, coming to a protracted stop near the Warpath Furnace. Both ships engaged docking protocols and an umbilical was installed between the ships. The thick, outer doors of the Strike cruiser inched open...
* * *
Inquisitor Raela wiped red lipstick from her neck and pulled up her collar. She took a step onto the umbilical tube and looked over her shoulder at her guards. Two Wyches. Wyches that she can't be alone in a room with for the same reason she was wiping lipstick from her neck. Wyches that, above all of their personal flaws, worshipped the God-Emperor... Well... They were more heavily indoctrinated, as was the rest of her retinue, but these ones in particular were easier to convince. It might have had to do with how many times Raela explained the "pleasures of submitting to the God-Emperor of Mankind." She sauntered up to the envoy that came to meet her.
"Conrax, is it?" she asked, checking over her Inquisitorial scrolls.
"Unfortunately, Lady Raela, it is," he replied, looking to the right to watch the occasional explosions on the surface of Julla.
"So I see from my reports that the fleet was attacked by Necrons and the Tau have projected a shield to protect from Void-to-Surface weapons?" Raela inquired, flipping through her papers still.
"Communications are still somewhat unreliable with the surface as well, but we are still able to communicate via telepathic choirs."
"Have you destroyed the shield? It shouldn't be that hard."
"The shield is heavily guarded, my Lady."
"Teleport me to the surface, Conrax" Raela demanded suddenly. Conrax now noticed she was staring at him.
"That really isn't-" Raela's snapped and he stopped talking.
"Teleport me, the two behind me and the other four"
"The other four? I do not know what you mean."
"Don't play with me, Warp Priest" Reala pronounced the last two words in native Kattifrakkan tongue, "You know who the other four are. You looked away to move your psyche through my ship."
Conrax sighed and his eyes glowed a deep amber. Raela's vision slowly turned to white and she closed her eyes. Upon opening them a second later, she saw that she was on Julla, in the verdant forests. Her wych body guards appeared a moment later, by each of her sides. She spied a Warp Spider perched up in a tree and a Big Mek falling out of one. The form a Tau battle suit appeared in a shallow creek bed.
"That's five... Where is my baby Lu?" Raela pondered, watching the Big Mek curse and kick the tree he fell out of.
"You should stop referring to Lu as a child as he is hardly such" the warp spider mumbled, warp-jumping down to the Inquisitor and kneeling in submission. The other Xenos quickly took to his side and did the exact same, kneeling and bowing their head. Raela looked around for her sweet Lu in the undergrowth and shallow ditches. She stopped quickly when she heard a scream, the sound of what could be presumed as a skull cracking followed by a sickening slurping noise. The sound made the Wyches giggle and one piped up.
"I think that's Lu, Lady Raela" she said, looking in the direction of the sound and inhaling deeply, presumably feeding off the suffering of what ever poor soul was just killed. Raela smiled and turned around. She had to look up to actually look Lu in the eyes. The Lictor looked down to help the Inquisitor.
"I found a Pathfinder... He was a forward scout trying to flank the New Order forces and sabotage... sabotage some sort of missiles... EMP... I do not know what that means."
"Good boy, Lu," the Inquisitor said, scratching the scales on his head. The other Xenos looked at each other as none of them actually understood what Lu said. None of them understand the clicks and body cues of a Tyranid; however, Raela barely understood them either. She only knew what he said because of a servitor-controlled harness he wore, which allowed him to be controlled by Raela's every whim. Everything he thought, Raela knew. "I will have to reward you..."
She turned and looked over her retinue. Each one garbed in armour the deep shade of onyx. Each had the Inquisitorial insignia stamped into the center of their helmet or chestplate. Each one also wore a necklace with the insignia on it. And above all else, each one was loyal to her and the God-Emperor of Man.
"My humble servants, welcome to Julla"
Spoiler:
So I have reintroduced the Inquisitor again along with her Xenos companions

I detect some heresy here TS.... I do like the character of Raela though, she's certainly interesting.
Spoiler:
Au contraire, dear WK. According to some FFG materials I read through, there is a thing like non-herectical Xenos
H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...

I already have 3 Eldar: the two wyches (the Twins as they will always be called) and the Warp Spider (Jumper is his code name). Adding a harlequin would make it too much, plus it wouldn't mix well with the closet stuff between Raela and the Twins

Will we be seeing some explanations for why the Eldar follow a mon'keigh? This is definitely an interesting character, which even comes with a pet Lictor. What's not to love?

Spoiler:
That will require a long backstory... Especially for the reason the wyches follow the Inquisitor. More will be told in the future

Well, we don't have an exact number count. Or any real estimates AFAIK. It could be 20, it could be 20,000. Feel free to ask them if you're interested.
