Cheers Az. Really happy with those bases and even though they overlap a touch, they do go really well with the space hulk tiles. I suspect I'll do something similar with the DW:O figs when I eventually get them. I like to do theme bases. Doing the same with all the AdMech as that the ruined landscape of their forgeworld which they are defending against ....... Well, that's another story still being written

We started on the couples painting the other night. Just did some base coating and explained about layers, washes, wet palette etc. Was fun for us though she swears like a sailor in Korean whenever she goes over a line. Lol. I get scolded a lot for being a brushlicker. I give her a month and she'll be doing it too. Rofl

Well hello mr delivery man!!! Just arrived this afternoon. Guildball morticians guild players. Gorgeous figs and gotta doff my hat to steamforged; lovely clean crisp casts with barely a hint of flash to clean up. Next month's target is gonna be to get these guys and the two I bought when I was home in Ireland painted up. Need some old bits of wood..........

They are!! The Fisher's Guild figs are pretty awesome as well but I'm all for Mortician's at the mo. From what I've seen, the game looks pretty dmn awesome too. Watched a few on YT. Go on....treat yourself

Bit of both Para. I need to order up resin bases for them like I'm using for the Space Hulk figs. I may go with Fenris Games again or I might try a differnt company - same style of bases though. Very keen to try adapting my genestealer paint scheme across from the Space Hulk purestrains to the DW:O hybrids. Gonna have a wee think about it first - how and where to make some pallette changes to show the more 'human' side of the 3rd and 4th gens especially. The marines though will defintely be getting some painty love sooner rather than later

My idea for Space Hulk Terminator basing is to make 40mm bases that the integrated bases can just slot into when needed for 40k games. I'll probably put a big blob of green stuff on the 40mm, press the integrated base down into it to make the slot and then build up the rest of the base around it to match my other Space Marines.

I've just accepted that I'll never complete everything...partly because I keep stripping stuff to repaint. Negative progress!

40K Terminators are usually on 40m bases iirc. The Space Hullk ones fit on 32s....just. But with the 32s they'll fit the Space Hulk tiles pretty much perfectly. The 40s work fine though

Sweet mercy!!!! I was kciking myself for giving in and buying DW:O as it's kicked my 'cabinet dwellers' count up by 50 as I'm trying to whittle it down......600!!! Woooo - next time my wife says that I have too many unpainted figs to buy new stuff.......I'm just gonna point at YOU!!!!!

What is it about us and buying new models before we have painted the ones we have? I have at least 2 more months of modeling on my current army but have already started buying stuff for the next. Oh well, I guess buying is part of the fun I mean why let those cool boxes just sit on some shelf in some store when they would be much happier with us, right?.

Everyone knows that when a painter completes their backlog, they die... buying more minis is thus a medical requirement.

Aye 300 unpainted here and that does not feel that bad. Couples painting sounds interesting, the missus once tried to teach me knitting...it did not end well.

That would be such a horrible end - spend a lifetime completing backlog only to snuff it when you think you are gonna get to enjoy them!!!
