True Gryt, as great as ever. The servo skull and homing beacon have gotten a a far better paint job than they deserve as well.

So DW:O wise what have you got left to paint?

Great work Jan! If you get around to playing Deathwatch Overkill, the Frag Cannon is a truly nasty bit of kit (or awesome depending which side you pick lol)/

Lovely work on the Deathwatch Fist and his little mates there. Is he one of the ones from Overkill?

Yes. Same goes for the servo skull and teleport beacon.

This is going to be good!

How are you finding painting the larger scale? Is it noticeably different?

Cheers Para. Putting a lot into this one and trying out a few new things to try and level up my painting. All the materials so far barring the nmm (my first attempt at it) trim to his inner coat, have been done with glazing. Works nicely for leather I think. This is my second 54mm model (first was The Nurse) and I really love the scale. There's a few differences - the bigger scale means any mistakes or sloppy technique shows up really glaringly and is harder to hide but it does allow for more character and effect to put in. The head/face is going to be interesting (read scary) to do as it has so much more detail and realism to it, even down to crows feet and wrinkles. I love the scale and the inq54 models I reckon are some of the best sculpts even to come out of GW. Eisenhorn is the first I have to do. After him I have 3 more of the range. I want more but they are costly buggers to find and buy these days. The rarer ones are going for over $100 each on eBay if you can find them :/

Cheers Joe. The bases are from the Tech Bases range from MicroArtsStudios. They make some of the best resin bases I've come across - huge range of different themes. I bought up enough to do the whole DW:O boxed set.

Gorgeous work Jan, really stunning so far. The picture quality from watching your stream vs. seeing it in photo is also very evident, the streams video doesn't quite capture the depth of tone that the photos do. You're doing a lovely job and I'm looking forward to watching you continue on stream, always makes for a very entertaining painting sessions.

Sos haven't been around much of late. Up to my proverbials with RL and streaming most days as well. Busy but happy!! Anywho - making some solid progress on Eisenhorn. Happy how the woolen texture of his great coat is working out and the brown leather inner coat as well finally made a start on a death jester too for a December giveaway. Phew!!!!

Excellent work, Jan Will you be pinning Eisenhorn when you put him together? I always had issues with the Inquisitor models, as they had some pretty hefty bits.

I like your Death Jester's coat too

Great work Jan, love the move to the bigger scale but that Death Jester coat is beautiful.

How does streaming work? I have no real idea about it, do you know how many viewers you have, can you interact with them?

Cheers folks. Really am having a blast with Eisenhorn and yes there'll be a large pin when I join the upper and lower body pieces. Really need to when ur dealing with that much white metal. Heavy as.
@Thraxas - streaming is basically is me painting live with a webcam (well, 2 cams actually) there's a chat panel on the screen as well so viewers can chat away with each other and me via IM. I can see how many viewers there are and read the chat so i can answer questions and interact with viewers etc. pop by and have a look sometime. My channel is at www.twitch.tv/januinevision - if click ' follow' and notify there, you get a message whenever I go live. Simple

great work on all these models jan. i especially like the light blue cloak. im laughing my butt off right now because i saw on a model a page back or so, with a gem...and it made me realize, as ive just started painting some eldar, that ive been painting the gems on them upside down lol wondering why it felt strange since painting those gems is something i havent done in years....oh well, thanks for showing me the light Anyways, great stuff carry on
