Thats weird, I checked the link not long after SirDonlad posted it and the Venator was listed as Out Of Stock- No Longer Available, never a good sign, now it's back in stock and all's fine?

I asked in WW when I saw it missing too,
They needed to redo the mould is all.

Whenever they put "Out of Stock" on something in their online catalogue, it usually means they'll continue to make them, and you can sign up to be notified, once the model is back in stock.

So there's not really any cause for concern.

Whenever a kit is being retired they'll either put them in the "Last Chance to Buy" category, or they will just remove them from the store. So you might have a purchase planned and then, when you eventually have the money ready, find that some of the things you were planning to buy are no longer available. Happened to me a couple of times now.

Yeah, available for me too. They COULD bring back Eldar Corsair upgrades and Lynx back, instead of pumping more and more marines though :|

There was a talk on specific FB group, where a guy stated that he talked to FW and they let him understand that everything non Marine related is definitely not a priority. He also mentioned that Vampire Raider could be brought back too. Once they have time for it. So this "mold re-do" thing could possibly last for half a year, or even more, sadly.

This is a Horus Heresy product though, so may be given a slightly higher priority.

The Vampire making a return has been a rumour since January. If it's happening, they're really taking their sweet time with it.

Have the corsairs been out of stock for long? I wouldn't have thought something that got updated rules so recently might be at risk of disappearing but then again that didn't help the sonic lance lynx

I haven't done the maths in proper yet, but off the top of my head it looks like he will. It won't be easy but he has a consistent advantage against Curze and Corax, and be fairly equal against Angron. (Angron should do more damage than Russ can do in the 1st round of combat, however from the second round onwards they're about equal. Angron having 1 less wound is what makes the fight more even).

If Angon killed a few other characters beforehand he should actually beat Russ most of the time, which makes sense since when they did fight Russ lost.


Of course the full rules in Inferno will probably change this and make the fights less hard (or at the very least potentially buff the SWs or his unit more beyond being a Legion Vexilla on a Fearless model...)

Anyway, I had slight hopes they would put something else up as well, but I guess any other characters or special units will have to wait until the book is ready ...

I dunno if that math on Logan beating Agron is correct. He's got a Paragon Blade and a Power Axe, which is super redundant and don't even compliment each other to give +1 attack.

They've been out of stock a really long time, it's seriously taking the piss. I'm just glad I got the Lynx back in September, but even before then you couldn't get the Sonic Lance version.

Fulgrim and Angron are pretty low-powered as they were the first Primarchs.. so it's easily conceivable that newer ones will have better rules. Angron is honestly pretty terrible and I'm at a loss why they don't upgrade the older model's rules to be more useful as they did with the other legion rules.

Also I'm shocked that Primarchs like Angron and Ferrus don't have a decent FNP score.

Odd that there not doing bundles for legions other than the SW, especially as some of the upgrade sets seem to be intended for MK3.

Nice thing about the Salamanders helmets, there are four that are Mk IV helmets, and five that are Mk II/III, so they're perfect for that BaC/BoP combo that GW put up.

With the weakening pound I've been thinking of ordering, but then realized there's no reasonably priced thing I want to order.

Maybe a Leviathan Dread? But then I need a dread pod... and different sets of arms...

I'm still sad that Russ' two wolves weren't released alongside him...

At least wait until we see the complete rules for his weapons before going crazy about it. Even the basic weapons in the "get-you-by" rules have inherent strength bonuses that add to that S6.
