Really don't like that model for Russ. Big let down.

I asked a friend who was visiting warhammer world on saturday to inquire what was going on and it's pretty much what CragHack's already said. The mold needs a refresh but there isn't enough staff to get it done anytime soon. They presumably need to prioritise all that damn power armour!

What is that new vehicle on the bulletin page? :O

It's only for the new Custodes? Anyone have any info?

Huh. That was completely unexpected. I think I like it though? Not sure how well it fits the Imperial aesthetic being so rounded and efficient looking, but it's an interesting design.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Love the look.
If it was custodes exclusive though I'd expect alot more flashy emblems and designs on it.

But a imperial hover tank?
That I do like.

Nice tank. I also think that is Constantine Valdor next to it.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

That is a pretty sweet looking tank. Aesthetically I think it ties in close enough to the jetbikes not to look out of place.

Fair play, that's a nice upgrade

I think early imperial technology is quite consistently presented as more sleek and rounded, as it's still more connected to the Dark age of Technology. Compare this one with the scimitar jetbikes and the javelin speeders.

The imperial aestetic becomes more bulky and angular as technology regress.

Look at his legs. Is he straight off the cricket pitch.
Look at his pose. Is he static or twisting or what?
Look at his large amount of stuff/pelts/baubles hanging off the back with a large negative space between it and his torso.

Bad sculpt, bad sculpt.

Who's piloting that thing though? Custodes are massive compared even to marines... are there also custodes ratlings purely hired on to fit into tiny cockpits?

It's probably like those minisubs used for deep sea exploration: the pilot lays down inside and is suitably uncomfortable.

Some serf presumably. Just like most Space Marine vehicles are crewed in 40K

Contrary to many peoples belief, they don't waste a fully fledged post-human super-warrior to be the designated driver.

Yup. Good on them for this one.

Though I too am as curious as others as to who is piloting that thing. Hardwired servitors? I can't see a Custodian like... cramming into that thing. Plus, they are consummate warriors - why pilot a grav tank when they can just have it basically BSC'd?

To hell with it.
Already ordered 30 custodes so count me in for 2 of these aswell.
Amazing looking model.

Just a shame it's not a bit more flashy as its custodes.

Err it's still going to get painted gold and red. Doesn't really get much flashier.

I'm wondering how likely 40k rules are for this beaut.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.
