I'm just thinking. Part of the Custodes lore is a Deimos pattern rhino that hovers, the grav rhino. These new models are bulky. Also doesn't that mean the custodes termies would be very bulky and therefore bigger than Dorn?

Grav Rhinos were made for the Custodes, basically, so who knows what their transport capacity will be.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that pic before, but somehow the three in the middle never really registered as 'Terminators' to me!

Of course they are, but...ha!

The Custodian next to the terminators on the right is Kitten.

Truthfully, I kinda feel like they've just rolled the Custodes "Terminators" and standard Custodes into one design with the new plastics.

Sometimes it can be easy to over look things.

I'm excited to see more Custodes things.

This is probably off topic but I looked at the 360s of the custodian models and a sigmarine on my desk and the back of the shin plate is basically identical

If Custodes get a full 30k army I may have to break down and finally start 30k. I was able to resist starting a SM legion but holy crap that tank is awesome and the plastic Custodes models are top notch.

Well get your wallet ready as the Custodes are getting a full list in Inferno. FW have said that they'll get a stand alone list while the Sisters of Silence will be designed as an allied list.

Just remember, your wallet will hate you and there are no brakes on this train.

That Grav-Tank gives me a tingly feeling like the Sicarian tank did when it was previewed. Yes, I think I will have to get one (or three...). Looks like a Heavy Bolter up front- probably up gradable to a Heavy Flamer, and those main guns...! Maybe some kind of Railgun-ish Autocannon?

If they give us Grav Rhino's that look like this... well, I might have just found my next 30K army.

I figured Custodians were gonna get a unit, maybe special character, and that's about it. I had no idea we would see a fully fledged out army list for them! We've seen Troops, Elites, the Contemptor Dreadnought, and now this tank. Throw in a HQ model, some transports and Bob is your Uncle. Forge World better be careful though! If they make them too awesome, no one will buy any of the other 30K goodies they make.

Between prospero, the new Grav tank and everything else, my bank card is starting to take exception...

HQ will probably be something like shield captain with Kitten being the named character. Standard bearer pen ably exists as well

It's a nice model and I like that they stayed with grav vehicles for Custodes.

I cant wait to see the full army release

I agree. This is my major beef with the Custodes models. Their feet are huge and chunky. A major aspect of the Custodes' aesthetic that set them aside from Space Marines is the fact that they have very thin lower legs, which made them more top heavy seeming yet light on their feet. I really dislike the new custodes feet.

I think that line of thought either comes from the fact that alot of the art shows them either unarmored in regards to their legs or covered with ceremonial skirts.



Or its like in that picture where clearly there is something wrong with the proportions of the Legs to the torso.

That said I can see why you'd have a problem with their lower legs seeming 'heavy'

That tank looks bitchin, but like MGStompa, I'm not sure how a Custodes fits in it, unless he's laying down or something. Or controlling it with his mind!

So there are the troops that shoot and elites that are hard to budge. Just need heavy support squads and fast attacks.

The grav tank does look really good. However I never thought I would say this about a GW model, but.......it needs more bling If any army should have all of its stuff covered in unnecessary ornamentation its the Custodes. Those engine intakes would have looked great as eagle heads

You know, I'm not fan of bikes, especially the jetbikes the Imperium have, but if the Custodes get Jetbike sculpts like in that picture, I might have to get some

Speculation but Re Custodes Terminators, the armour on the BoP guys gives them a 2+/5+inv save already. The only advantage non Cataphractii Terminator plate would give over there(I'm assuming) standard armour is the relentless rule So if they do get there own Terminator variant, I think they will be less assault and more heavy weapon focused.
