Considering Sad Panda is refuting them, I'd say "not likely." It's the same as the Tzeentch Daemonkin that were definitely-totes-absolutely going to follow the Khorne Daemonkin

I agree completely. Each new release for AoS has been worse than the last, and this just takes the cake. The weird offspring of a metal album cover and a Fisher Price castle toy, at an absolutely devastating price. Who exactly is this aimed at? Is it some sort of aspirational item? "Save your money, young man, and maybe you too can own a DREADHOLD someday!"

I feel the same way. I have slowly come around to the AOS starter set models- the Khorne stuff was pretty decent and the Sigmarites I've accepted. But the last few things, like this fort in particular, have really gone into the range of WoW/Fisher Price silly. Which seems really counter-intuitive for a kit that costs a lot of money to get value out of.

That makes me a...
Sad panda.

Who was it that originally threw tzeentch rumours out there? Are they reliable in the same sense as sad panda? Or was it an assumption based on the ghal maraz cover art?

GW is making me not spend money on anything from them by not releasing tzeentch stuff. I would buy other things too if I felt my main man was being serviced. Plastic lord of change would have me some kind of giddy. Didn't someone mention the greater daemons have been ready for awhile? How reliable is that assertion?

It's a little funky that Khorne has turned into the mortal Chaos range, sort of.

It's just that AoS release in general is GW going from delusional to full bonkers. It's actualy great to watch for the comedy heh.

From the initial Age of Sigmar news thread, when its "feature" list was first confirmed:

A collosal, terrible, flaming, hysterical train wreck with burning clowns running around spraying it with seltzer bottles while ring masters cry out how everything is fine and we should all come in while the dancing elephants lurch around leaving trails of blood behind them.

How could I look away?

Yeah not sure on comedy, more tragi-comedy at this stage

So I guess that the new Chaos fortress is replacing the old generic fortress in their scenery range? Would wonder will they release a range of scenery to tie in with each of the factions as they are released? I'd be interested to see an equivalent Dwarf type scenery piece as long as it was restrained to a degree in it's aesthetic approach.

I'm not sure what I think about this thing.

All together it looks amazing.

But the price tag for the whole thing is prohibitly expensive. Even more so if you wanted to convert it to 40k give it more of a demon-tech/doom look to it.

The individual peices don't feel like they "work" that well on their own either. Doors sticking off the sides of the upper story would look really bad with out anything for thows doors/platforms to connect too.

The more I look at this thing, the less I like it. The concept is cool, but the execution leaves something more to be desired. Its like with last batch of terrain for 40k, just slap skulls everywhere. It makes its use extremely limiting. Its like when alot of the loyalist stuff in 40k comes with a ton of Aquilas plastered all over the model, even as a chaos player I could have been a potential customer though the prospect of filing off all those emblems makes it too prohibitve.

Games Workshop: Ruining Chaos Space Marines since 2007

First they raised prices on the Eldar, and I did not speak out because I did not play Eldar.

Then, they raised prices on the Orks, and I did not speak out because I did not play Orks.

Then, they raised prices on the Nids, and I did not speak out because I did not play Nids.

Then, they raised prices on the Marines, and there was nobody to speak out for me.

Or a focus on that specific group of Stormcast, seeing as how they play a rather large role in book II--and the war in the Realm of Life.

The hallowed knights are a stormcast chamber. Though why not use them if more stormcast releases are coming. GW want to diversify the stormcast in similar ways to marines. First lot of stuff with the stupid gold colour, second lot done in the nice greeny blue and so on. While stormcast all look the same gw can do more with "chambers" and offer different looks and examples of colours to inspire. Its more hard with chaos releases as gw limit themselves to one god at a time and rarely actively show models in other schemes

Doubt it. That sounds Khornate, and GW would never risk having their factions become that internally nuanced.

Lol you can still be frenzied and not worship Chaos.

I wonder if this is a suggestion that some Stormcast Eternals are prone to recalling their past lives a bit more than others. Thus causing a bit of rage when they fight Chaos.

But grey knights would never perform Khornate rituals! That would be terrible. So...since Draigo was watching all this stuff before...does anyone think he might cross over and become a special character that fights with the sigmarites?

Sadly, I think we got 70/30 odds on that happening. Mark my words.

Not a rumor-just a hunch.

So...since we still don't actually have any confirmation that it was, in fact Draigo and not a Stormcast Eternal trapped within the Garden of Nurgle(remember that time has no meaning in the Realm of Chaos), can we stop with this Draigo nonsense?

From Faiet: http://natfka.blogspot.ca/2015/08/the-celestant-prime-details-about-next.html

"Prime" refers to Celestant-Prime, a special character (rules say you can have only 1). He wields Ghal Maraz!

There are also 51 new Citadel airbrush paints, "from the same range that we currently have... Calgar Blue, Evil Sunz Scarlet, Ultuan Grey, etc. Also a Castle Thinner."

The sucky thing about citadel airbrush paints, if they're like Forge world ones is that they will be in a pot. Dropper is SO much better than pot for airbrush. It's not even close.

To be fair though, this is GW being talked about.

Actually isn't too bad of an idea. The stormcast are drawn from warriors of many tribes. Initially when they come back as it were they retain everything about who they used to be until at least they "die" to be reborn which is when they start losing their identity.

Hallowed Knights blurb from the book;

The righteous passion of the Hallowed Knights is so strong that fell magicks of their foes have little hold upon these silver-girded crusaders.

While this is probably a big enough rumor for its own thread, I would tend to disbelieve this one for three reasons. First is the source, as Faiet is anything but reliable. Second, with GW's "... if we don't sell it, it doesn't exist..." mentality it would almost force GW to sell an airbrush to use along with these airbrush paints. I would hate to see what a GW airbrush (and not a return of their "canned air" brush) would look like and what it would cost. The third reason is the source

I'd believe it. This is literally only 8 days from pre-order (if it's true, as seems likely). It hardly qualifies as a rumour if its less than a month out. It 's most likely just an early WD copy knocking about somewhere.

Why doesn't GW just rebrand a good airbrush this time? A dual action gravity feed from badger instead of the single action would be fine. And with everything else that comes in a box in the store costing near $100 or more, the airbrush will fit right in.
