I wish GW understood subtlety as their khorne models would be a lot better.. One doesn't need to wear 500 skulls to be a "follower of khorne", just as American soldiers don't need to have an entire uniform made out of american flags to show they fight for their country.

GW probably has a reversed censoring department that can access the digital sculpt and add apropriate levels of skulls and punch daggers.

No more customs or proxy minis! He has finally been made a reality! My 40k and AOS armies are very thrilled for this. The only downside I can see is the price tag that I can bet will be over $100.

Meh - not really impressed. Then again, none of the Chaos or Sigmarines 'do' anything for me.

I eagerly await new models that are -not- Chaos or Sigmarines, though, and not just re-releases.

I've never been a Chaos fan. Stormcast models were great, but I'm not a fan of the last two, trumpetman and bannerdude, and I eagerly await return of 40k stuff

Skarbrand doesn't fly so that's not really a problem? Still amazed we got 2 blood thirsters and no other greater demons (tzeentch and slaanesh ones look terrible still)

I actually still kind of like the LOC despite his age, though I agree the standard KOS is pretty gak.

Can't compare with models like the Vrock or new creature caster (Vrock v2) is all. When you look at newer models the GW ones look so bad.

Just buy one of the many alternatives from e.g. Mierce.
Their version is called PROTEANC, is more expensive, but also .. a lot nicer?

Skarbrand can't fly. He was fooled by tzneetch into striking khorne with one of his axes. Khorne became enraged and chucked him across the galaxy. He landed on a planet and carved a crater into the surface while landing, ruining his wings.

This is the story and what his rules reflect he is flightless. I wish he did have flight though as he could sometimes use more speed.

I think the first picture is a better size comparison, the Flesh Hounds in that picture are right next to him where as those Bloodletters seem pretty far in the background.

Fly? Poor guy can't even sit with those buttspines! No wonder he's so angry!

He looks much cooler and the pose looks much better from head on. Love the skull detail on his face.

wow, that seems a tad over the top, feels compounded by the fact there are no points rules.

So right out of the gates he has 8 attacks which look like they would one shot a unit of 8 or less models....?

the new pics makes him look a lot better imo.
