Emperor Daemons? What exactly are they?

There's a rather prevalent theory that the Living Saints and the Legion of the Damned are the "Daemons" of the Emperor (entities imbued with a small fraction of his power.)

In Talong of Horus the Astronomicon reveals itself to be the equivalent of a Daemon Prince, or lesser God, and, under the Emperor's commands, is continually spawning "Angels of Fire" (Daemons) that are laying siege to the Eye of Terror; laying waste to hundreds of worlds (pretty much just the outer worlds, though there are millions more for the Dark Gods to use in the EoT). Also, the Eldar believe the Legions of the Damned to be Imperial Daemons, and I'm more inclined to believe Eldrad Ulthran than any Imperial records.

Bloody hell that is an awesome piece of fluff. Who exactly does the Astronomicon reveal this information to?

Spoiler:
Abaddon spent so much time looking at the Astronomican in the Eye, his eyes have turned a gold colour

That is akin to rolling about in radioactive waste in order to gain super-powers.

Hint: Leukemia is not a super-power.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Going from a bronze angelic god to a skeleton hooked up to a mechanical device through the few remaining organic bits of your body... physically he may not be in much pain but if the lore is anything to go by, the guy is probably going through some incomprehensible chaotic flurry every second of every day. I mean, just spiritually he's gotta be tormented, having countless of his own people sacrificed to him as he uses what will he has left to keep the astronimicon functioning... if there is any trace of him left it'd be remarkable.

I just assume he has literally been fighting off and going through what we can only comprehend as "hell" aka Chaos for the last 10,000 years. He's pretty much a god, so I'm sure he's faring well but that's still a lot to go through.

Depends if he's in the same state he was in the Inquisition Wars. Split personalities all doing their own thing to manage the Imperium. Plus, sounding like the Borg when he talks!

After seeing the series, i can only imagine the emperors voice as text-to-speech
Some people hate the series, but i like it for its comedic value and Stereotypes of 40k (E.G Marneus calgar secretly hating the ultramarines as they never lose any battles anymore) the best episodes are 16 and 17 for the Lore factor

What comedic value? Its entire comedy routine is based off swearing and anal sex.
