Normal tactical squads have no options, veteran tactical squads have all the options on the sprue. They're even listed as vet squads on the cards for the game in the box.

Yep, tacticals are just bolter marines (with the option to take CCWs), but the sergeant does have the option to take a combi-weapon or other CC weapons. The veteran squads have the options similar to 40K tacticals (but limited to volkite, meltagun, plasmagun, heavy flamer, heavy bolter, and missile launcher)

I am going to use these to spin up a new legion. Torn between Ultras or Imp Fists. Already have Deathguard.

I'm doing the same, I would say go for something the opposite to what you play, the imp fists are a very strong legion in 30k but tend to be quite shooty like the death guard, I'm going white scars and full cc as I've got a shooty legion already,space wolves or world eaters also crossed my mind but the bikers really call out to me.

So far the only site to take any photos of the 4 double-sided tiles has managed to take photos of 3 of them, and only one side.

C'mon... how hard is it to flip it over and hit the photo button again?

Check Bartertown, usually cheaper deals than the Warstore.

Also, if you go to that GW list of independents where you can see the game in advance, I'll bet you dollars to donuts that almost all of the stores that bought 70 copies of it will have a good deal (every store on the HH preview list bought at least 70 copies)

There is Black Friday and Boxing day around the corner too, and despite how awesome HH is, I'd be shocked if they ran out by the end of November, and guess what will go on sale then?

Question: I don't really want to get the Betrayal at Calth to represent more Crimson Fists. They would never see use since my army is falling into place now. But what other army could I make them into? I am leanIng either White Scars or Raven Guard to make use of the Kauyon book. Both are different enough from my Crimson Fists and Blood Angels. I also am considering Imperial Fists. They both play very differently than Crimson Fists and Blood Angels. Probably will do White Scars and do their version of the Gladius.

Ironically, the Canadian price is much cheaper for Americans. If you live near the border, it's cheaper for you to drive across with that high US dollar and get it over here.

It's $180 CAD vs $150 USD. But since $1 USD = $1.33 CAD today, the MSRP is effectively $135 USD up here. Find a place with 25% or more discount, and you're looking at USD $100 or less! And in BC you only have to be 19 for booze. So come up here and spend your money! God knows, Canadians buy tons of their stuff across the border for just about everything else Just don't gas up here, because 1 tank of gas costs about the same as a Betrayal at Calth box :X

You're right. I will dig into it a nit more. maybe ill go more towards a DS or melee army.

Probably already mentioned but next White Dwarf has another mission in, and Visions in December has the word bearers pin badge to go with this weeks smurf one.

I'm not so sure this will end up on Black Friday sales, as more and more people see it I bet sales will accelerate. FLGS hear me already has more fully paid orders for this than any other box from GW, lot of people buying 2-4 boxes. In terms of it being limited he is saying it's limited in terms of quantity he can order and that are available this year. Sadly , because I can't afford to subsidise him to the tune of over £50, I've had to get my boxes online as he's only doing them RRP. I dont play there, otherwise I'd probably take the hit!

Took the plunge and got the Dark angels bundle from FW. Can't wait!

Not to mention no provincial sales tax, making it 7% cheaper. Albertans have it good I think there was a shop that had 70+ boxes ordered in Alberta, too!
