In recent posts (some from myself and some from others) it has become clear that people rather complain about rules, units, codexs, army lists. Instead of learning new strategies, new counters and just over all learning to play. At the rate GW is cranking codexs to 11 it is clear that more and more powerful units/codexs are coming. It's really sad that people refuse to play others because they refuse to challenge themselves and learn new ways to play and new strategies, I would never turn down a opponent regardless of army because I like playing the game and learning new things but apparently a lot of others rather complain and refuse people due to the fact that they just can't figure out ways to win or at least try to win. It's a sad day in table top gaming when someone buys something cool and what's to play with it but then everyone else just says no because they don't want to lose. It's a game, and if your sitting there basically tellin people I won't play you unless you bring a weak army then that really says something about you as a person, who's the real bully at the point.

Point fingers at who you want, but you're delusional. People don't complain because they don't want a challenge. People complain because sometimes they like playing an army a certain way, for instance, Slaanesh CSM. And someone comes up to them with a fluffy Saim Hann list. Why would they want to play that. It would literally be a waste of time to unpack your models.
It's a problem with 40k itself and the glaring imbalance between codexes, not because players need to "L2P".
In fact, this isn't your first L2P post. I thought you would've gotten your answer the first time you posted something along those lines.

The second sentence (first sentence? Is there supposed to be a period there instead of a comma?) of your post is "learn to play," which is rather rude. I actively play orks and have never turned down a game except for when there is not enough time. I have danced with scatterbikes, maneuvered against flyrants, failed to kill necrons, and flailed uselessly at 2+ rerollables. I have come up with some strategies and continue to learn. That does not mean though that certain units are objectively better at what they do than others. Units like the wraithknight are able to perform better for their points cost than most other units and, except for a limited number of hard counters, require a large amount of firepower to bring down. Compare this to an orkanaught which has a similar point cost but can explode from a single lucky lascannon shot and lacks the powerful weaponry of a wraithknight. It's a sad day for tabletop gaming when someone buys something cool and wants to play with it, but everyone fields the cheese of the month, rendering the meta a competitive hell. It's a game, and if you're sitting there trash talking people because they asked you to tone down your list to have a fun narrative game, who is the real bully? Finally, paragraphs. You should look them up.

this is what I mean, why won't you play.? Why won't you challange yourself and make army list that can play against it, take a typhon if your that worried s10 ap1 ignores cover problem solved. Your quick to refuse playing but at the end of the day it just makes you look like a bully and like your on a power trip. It's a game learn ways to win and you can, don't just sit there and refuse

Because a Typhon isn't a fluffy Slannesh army. It's not Flawless Host or any other reason to LIKE an army besides what is currently good. It's not learning ways to win, it's wanting the models that are fun and fluffy to stand a chance.

I rarely refuse games, personally, as I play Necrons. But when I do, it's for the fact that maybe I don't want to have to play a competitive list. Maybe I brought some fluffy, casual list I feel like running. And joe shmoe over here has 3 Wraithknights and Scatriders. No one should want to play against that, and I know I certainly don't. Plus, most armies don't have a shot in hell at beating it, so they'd rather play a game they'd have a chance at winning.

OH LOOKIE LADS.
ANOTHER DMAN POST TELLING EVERYONE TO LERN 2 PLEH.
Seriously mate, fething stop. You're an Eldar player (i.e you dont have any of the problems even Space Marines have) and this post just cements it in everyones mind that you're acting a cockend.
Stop making posts telling people to L2P and make strategies and counters for something virtually unbeatable. Your units are undercosted, over powered and take too many options.
Before you say "What do I do with the other default guys then hurrdurr", in a 10 man Tac squad, 7 marines minimum have bolters, one of them maybe taking an Auspex, we do this FOR EVERY TROOP CHOICE IN THE CODEX, even Elites like Sternguard are limited in their options! If i could take a full 10 marine squad with 8 Gravguns, a Gravcannon and a Sergeant with a Relic Blade and Combi-grav, you wouldn't be happy, surely?
If you want to be a respected Eldar player, take one scatterlaser per squad! Make the Wraithknight a LoW and increase it's point cost by 100! Make it fun for other people man. S'what a game is.
EDIT: I would have posted this earlier but Dakka wouldn't load for whatever reason.

Despite this just being another variation of your "Eldar are fine L2P" threads I suggest the following.
Swap armies with your opponents. If you are a superior tactitian and skill level is the deciding factor perhaps they can gain some insight into the weaknesses in your force.

this thread has nothing to do with the army I play, I could care less if people play me or not, I mostly only play at events. The tread is in regards to all army's not just eldar that people refuse to play against, why should someone have to change there rules in order to play.? Is it there fault that he made the rules that way.? Why do people that want to take good units have to nerf themselves to play people the refuse to come up with new strategies.? Every edition has its learning curves you just have to get pass then

Actually, I second Eldarain's suggestion. Switch Armies with your opponent for a few months, recording the events, and upload them so we can see how you deal with 'come up with new strategies.'

No, it's not their fault the rules were made this way, it's GW's fault. That doesn't mean that you need to point fingers at them because they don't want to be masochistic and play against an army with no hope of winning. Also, "come up with new strategies"? Yes, I'd like to see the variety of ways my girlfriend ( CSM) has to beat a Wraithknight.

I don't think we need another "L2P" thread at this point.
MAYBE if the whole thing wasn't immediately biased in one direction there could be SOME hope of a reasonable discussion, but as it is...
