Ok so this is a bit of an aside. I hate the gw Space Marines. Like even more than the VC zombies (Nevermind not that much). Theyre much too static. So ive gone and ordered some Novan Elites from Vanguard (the new stockist for TMG) as well as some termy proxies. The remaining gw ones will get some love in the form of champions. Just a little update. More titany goodness coming later today, time permitting.

And now that llama has bumped the thread, we can go back to the titan!
I've just stuck him one with some GS and scored it a bit to make it more mechanical. Some bulking on his back may be needed, but I dunno. That's all I can do today with him. So yea...
Oh, and the Aquila is gone now, and it's been smoothed over with liquid GS.
Seeya!

I might actually play steel legion. Heres my first attempt at a list. I hope its legal and all.
Regimental HQ
Support unit of sentinels
Mechanised infantry company
Support artillery battery
Steel legion artillery company
Support unit of sentinels
I think thats 2000 points. Also, can anyone guess my favourite IG unit?

Use this: https://traitor-legion.appspot.com/
Most of the lists on it are up to date, and I think the Steel Legion is one of those.

Please do! We need more titans dammit!
Ok so I think he's ready for priming:
I dont really know what to do with the back of the guns. I may just add some more GS and file it down.
Oh... and some work on an objective marker.

It looks good but it could still do with a hunched hunting posture which is a key element of all the Warhound designs.

Regarding the group shot, I only have a few rhinos done and I'll be replacing the marines with those from TMG, so no group shot for now.
And regarding the pose, I think that's a limitation of the terminator legs, which are quite upright as you can see. If I make another (and I will, even if it's just to replace this one) I will use these legs: http://shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=48&products_id=522
It's the top three, with the clawed feet, which I think are VERY warhound-y and the poses are great.
Thanks all, buh bye for now!

If there the right size they'll work nicely and for less than the Forgeworld legs. Do like Ramshackle as well!

So I've been preoccupied with a certain game...
BUT I'M BACK BITCHES!
Ok, so it's cold, so no spraypainting, which means I had to pick up some Imperial Primer. I've primed my objective marker and it's almost dry.
It's not as black as I thought it would be, but I care more about the actual medium than the color.
I also found a cool back to the titan's guns:

Right, so I'm painting up the titan, but I have a question. Should I use gold paint for the trim? I see it a lot in SoM art, but I know it's not canon and I feel like it looks too Black Legion-y. Any thoughts on this? He should be done by the end of the weekend by the way!

Good to know, looking forward to seeing it. Regarding to gold not being canon I do not think it is a problem since a titan can have whatever color scheme it frakkin likes.
If you can limit the black/gold contact areas, you should be fine regarding the BL look.
My two cents anyway !
