So I've gotten a stand of daemons done. Not much to say about em, just a quick drybrush.

Looking good man. I like the objects that you made. Any ideas on how you're going to do the terrain for those? Is the idea to have them like imperial shrines or chaos altars or something else?

Oh, those are objective markers for chaos, hence the spikes and gargoyles.

Hey, that works nicely in the end, atomize everything !
There is something pretty fascinating with this scale. At first, you just appreciate cool miniatures, but then you automatically try to compare with the well known 28mm scale and holy frak, these a big ! For example, these demons you posted before, the are the size of major demons right ? And these bastards come in squads, that's pretty cool i'd say !
So, what's next for the Sons ?

Yea... my daemon proxies are a bit too big, but it's fine seeing as my ACTUAL greater daemon will be based off of either a bloodletter or crypt ghoul seeing as greater daemons are really THIS SIZE:
What's next? Well... I have:
- 4 more daemon stands
- 4 more rhinos
- 3 hellblades
- Holy gak vanguard is taking forever to ship mah termies!

That's a really good idea for a titan conversion. Very cleaver.
I wonder if you could have used the legs from an iron hands space marine or even something from the mechanicus range to get a closer representation and slightly less speshmahreen-like.
Awesome plog mate ;-)

Thanks!
If I ever do another one, I'll use some robot legs from ramshackle.
One hellblade is primed up and the white and blacks are being put on right now.

Oh but I did not mean that they were too big, to me they look perfectly appropriate.

So I got bored and decided to make an icon bearer and get a concept for havoks. I'm really happy with how these turned out and will get to making more havoks and one more icon bearer ASAP! Icon Bearer: Havoks (the two with the extended barrels): Oh, and of course right after I finish my warhound, moredakka from vanguard miniatures unveils and AMAZING not warhound!

Very cool, that Sons of Malice paint scheme actually works very well for this scale, as it remains very readable on small models.

My thoughts exactly! The only real issue is with infantry because finding a good basing scheme that doesnt hide the white or black can be a bit tricky, but I think I got it. Just waiting on my bases from EW ( EW is back!!!!!)

Awesome news that models are looking cool and the Titan looks great for the background try a contrasting colour?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
