Isn't that just a down market Surf n Turf?
There is a cafe in Marlow on Thames called Burgers that doesn't server burgers because it is a bakery. The name is just the family name of the owner. He spends a lot of time speaking to confused tourists.

So veal is a pretentious meat?
Huh?
Is 85/15 the only acceptable meat for a burger to ensure it isn't pretentious?
Can I use 93/7? Or buffalo meat? Ground NY Strip?
I guess I'm curious what makes a food pretentious to begin with...

IKR?
That veal burger actually sounds like a damn tasty burger.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

Its not any specific ingredient. Its trying to both reinvent something which doesn't need to be AND using over the top ingredients together. A burger isn't gourmet, its not something you should be exploring complex flavor profiles with. Its lunch, something you eat with gusto and vigor at your favorite burger joint. Not something you pay $20+ for at the Ritz Carlton.

The only thing on that I wouldn't eat is "american cheese foam". At least someone's admitted it's made of plastic.

I've only been once, last time I was in the ATL, and I had the RBQ. Angus, brisket, slaw.
It was delightful

That menu is missing a bacon jam somewhere. I've had it on a pretentious burger. It was tasty. I can happily admit I've had a pretentious burger. And it's delicious.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

The Korean bbq burger looks great. I'd have that in a second even if i had to wear skinny jeans, boat shoes and a tea cosy whilst eating it.
I put a vote in for the best food being bacon and kim chee sammiches. YUM!
Get back on topic guys, so far the only one keeping on topic seems to be grey templar.
also, if you take a single letter out of Korean you get Koran! Keep you eyes on them Koreans my American friends, they are like the Islamic 5th column!
