According to the 2013 census the Inland Empire has the highest poverty rate for a Metropolitan Area in the United States. As a community we are uniquely equipped to help with this problem. So Cal Games and Comics is going to host a combination food drive and 40k tournament. The only thing we can guarantee is the more cans of food you bring the more fun you will have.

Goal: collect as much food for St. Martha's food pantry located in Murrieta.

The tournament sign in will start at 11:15pm on November 21st dice will roll at Midnight on Nov 22nd! We plan on going three rounds. We have a scenario for a fourth round if needed.

We are located at is 40466 Winchester Rd Temecula CA

The Entry fee is $15 and 10 non perishable food items (please no top ramen or glass jars)!

We are now an Independent Tournament Circuit Event!

Is this tournament a part of the ITC circuit? If not, you should consider adding yourselves to the circuit. You don't necessarily have to use their ruleset. This may help to attract more players.

Would like some clarification on the tournament packet. It says unbound armies only so I wanted this confirmed for everyone so they are aware of this.

Also, the 4th mission says "[u]nits must be part of a Detachment in order to count for purposes of this Round’s scoring mechanics." There are no detachments in unbound armies, so this is technically impossible, any input?

ALL ARMIES IN THE TOURNAMENT MUST BE UNBOUND! We are limiting lords of War via the ITC format. So only one unless your are playing a knight force!

Dang how did I not see this till now. I won't be able to make it this year I won't have an army even close to finished so I won't be able to participate in the event but still may come down and donate for the good cause and watch some dice be thrown.

I've got myself and another, one on the line hoping to reel in, and will campaign throughout the week.

Hi Everyone! Here is an update on the tournament. With several attendees we collected over 250 cans of food for St. Martha's food pantry! I wanted to thank everyone for their participation in this annual event.

Was a really fun event and everyone was really cool. Unbound was really fun with the ITC rules/FAQs in place so we didn't see anything too crazy, except Tau... =).

Everyone walked away with cool prizes and I think next time they are going to run the event at a more "reasonable" time!

I was there that weekend, but between driving down from the Bay and having to attend a wedding the very next morning, I was too tired to make it. Oh well, maybe next time.
