Can anyone recommend any more 'fun' battle reporters? I find many take themselves too seriously (and make plenty of mistakes despite that), which I suppose is the most common mistake.

Tabletop tactics guys have tons of fun, and they're armies look great too.

What's left of Cadia

There's also skared cast and striking scorpion. They're both great battle reporters. Some beautifully painted armies too

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Absolutely. Have you seen TableTop Tactics? Similar to Striking Scorpion, but just as good. Side note, the hell is with all the premium batreps lately?

No, me the 15-20 people at the league i play with. Seriously its not hard to learn this game, its not even 200 pages (a fraction of popular novels like Game of Thrones or Harry Potter). You just have to actually try.

We get it: you're awesome.

Upload some vids. You could be the inspiration for a whole generation.

Echoing previous commenters, strikingscorpion82 all the way. If you haven't watched any/many of his batreps then there is a goldmine waiting for you including apocalypse specials. I'd say he gets the balance right; he rarely makes mistakes, has captivatingly painted models and terrain but still always has a laugh or two during the game.

i got bored watching striking scorpions stuff - beautifully painted terrain and models, but i'm so not intrested in long slow pans of a battle in progress.

I have been enjoying crabblesworth's batreps while painting, particularly the after battle chit-chat about the state of the game, GW/FW, recent changes etc.

I like strikingscorpion82 a lot - but its a bit hard to compare to MWG the amount of mistakes he makes since most of the time he skips rolls and other details and often does turn summaries.

You can't seriously be suggesting scorpion makes more major rules errors? I would like see more of the dice rolls admittedly but you do have to take into account that if a batrep is too long, the views will drop. What's your beef with turn summaries?

Scorpion does not make a lot of mistakes... he rarely loses though which I tend to find a bit of a repetitive theme. Overall he does have top video batreps.

Then that's good for you. Unlike me who has to deal with people who only after I got beaten the living crap out of I knew they cheated on me. or just misuse the rules without knowing to their advantage.

Hard to tell since you don't get to see most of what he's doing, only getting a summary. Given the large number of special rules that can be at play at any stage during a players turn we wont know about any small errors when we only see a summary at the end of the turn. Not that it seems like he's making many mistakes anyway.

As for winning all the time, you should see him use Nids, he almost never wins and is onto his 3rd attempt at building a decent force with them.

One love

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.
