Hey all,

I wanted to see if anyone had tips on achieving more advanced skin tones similar to the images below. Doing things like adding in purple to simulate semi transparency to show blood flow, or adding in lighter colors where skin is being stretched for the "white knuckl" effect.

Don't have much exp in painting ork skin bad dam that looks good and those basis...o my o my!

Can I help at all? i've done some lighter themed Ork skins with subtle advancements in my technique if you like the results I can certainly show you? :-)

That would be absolutely fantastic. I would be happy if I could achieve anything close to what you have done with your orks!

Thanks man! I'll have to take a look when I get home from work today. I've found a few other tutorial videos that rely heavily on multiple washes for the basing, but so far I have not seen the purples / reds employed in to the mix.
