Question for those in the know... but if I have even an inclination to start playing Warzone Resurrection, is there any value for that, in backing this KS? Any model/unit overlap?

I just saw the update. This campaign is giving me all of the cool Dark Legion beasts. Now, give us a Carnal Harvester, maybe an Immaculate Fury, and a Gomorrian Emasculator and I'll pretty much have all of the Dark Legion stuff I wanted from the original line. Modiphius also mentioned in the comments that if this is successful enough, we may even get into Dark Eden territory. I would love to see a modern take on the Sons of Rasputin.

Seems like, because of the enemy variety, Dark Legion players will be able to field a whole army on the back on one pledge, but every other faction just gets 1 or 2 compatible hero models. Still. Seems likes a decent starting point.

I think Barzam would transcend this mortal realm if they were to have modern Sons of Rasputin show up.

I'll admit I had to look up all those thingees he mentioned. I didn't even know that a Carnal Harvester was a thing.

I also learned I already own a Gomorrian Emsaculator.

Yeah you can pick up all the grunts for your Corporation army with warzone add in some Warzone dark legion troops, and bingo you're good to go - even better warzone 2.0 is free to download!

Afraid I have succumbed to the Dark Symmetry now as well.

The value on this is getting pretty bonkers now, and looks to get even more out of control as this hits the final 48. With the sheer amount of extras though it makes me wonder how much of a delay it'll cause...

So... is there a random mission generator or anything? I understand there are elements of progression, but what does that entail and for how long do your characters persist?

The old tekron models are gold. How do they think to improve upon perfection?

I got rid of a lot of the old Warzone figures I had, but for some reason the Tekron is a model I can never part with.

Yes we considering a mission generator deck - it's on the list of 'cool things to do' at the moment and might yet make it in to the KS

They are going to be really fun for the DL player and a pain in the backside for the heroes. They will get to build cool stuff and potentially repair things or creatures too

Interesting. FFG actually had the license for a while (not sure if it was for 'board games' or 'miniatures games') and as I understand it, that license didn't exactly flourish under them.

In addition, Paolo Parente is involved with SotC and of course, FFG is one of the many bridges that Dust Studios & Paolo Parente have burned in the past.

So I find this news doubly surprising!

Well, IIRC FFG is still using Parente's production facilities for X-Wing, so...

Well they have a lot of free time and warehouse space after losing the GW license...

That said, Siege of the Citadel is certainly a type of game that could have been done using the 40k license, given themes and probably even gameplay. So now it would not have to compete with any other possible Gw licensed game for the spot.

Paolo's sculpting team are involved but Modiphius and Cabinet are in charge of development and production. :-)

So excited to hear about the mission generator. Was it officially mentioned in an update? I can't find it?
