The use for the flame car is to park it on a board for a "scenario" and make the players nervous that the owner may show up.

I keep thinking the driver does not need to see when they take a right turn because anyone on the other side of that flamer can see it clearly enough to get out of the way.
It would not do to surprise the driver who is in charge of the trigger either.

I am thinking apocalypse template for that one.

My exact thought.

I wonder if anybody is going to run a scenario along those lines in one of the FFG games....

Well with the new Ghostbusters movie coming out, it is an opportunity to bring out a specialized 4 lady warp creature buster squad.

Given the reception the new Ghost Buster's movie seems to be getting, it might not be a bad idea to stay away from that

Warp Busters would be awesome though in its own right.

I just had a vision of a Greater Daemon of Khorne busting through a warp breach.

A box with a long tether is launched, snaking to his feet.
He looks down in confusion as he is hit by four energy beams that taste of nuclear waste.

"Don't cross the streams! What happens again? It would be very bad... Nurgle may drop by for a visit."

The Daemon screams in frustration and anger as he is sucked into the box.
A boot kicks the box, swearing in multiple languages is heard in a tiny angry voice from within.
Suddenly some very large marines all in grey burst into the room...

"Sorry guys, too slow again. You have to learn that poking them with contained psychic energy is inefficient and just sends them off to sulk for a few years."

"<picking up box carefully by the cord> Yeah, this little guy is going into an alter-dimensional matrix where even if it experienced a breach it would still take a few thousand years to find the exit."

"Plus if you have any ideas of poking us with those brain-picks, the nuclear packs breach in a far more exciting way and MAY let the daemon out of the box... just let us deal with him and he is one less you will ever have to see again. It's been fun! Toodles!"

Oh, I could have big plans for this car...

See, that would be awesome. Two rogue ordo malleus inquisitors, an adeptus mechanicus tech priest and a vet guardsman they picked up along the way using highly dangerous technology to trap demons and store them in a spaceship sized vault that both confuses and traps the demons and powers the ship's systems. They do this across the stars, slamming down on hive worlds, in the middle of chaos cultist uprisings and all manner of crap, bagging and tagging the demons.

I wonder if I could get a Rogue Trader or Inquisitor campaign rolling for that...

I think I prefer the cars that don't actually have guns on them. The idea of civillian vehicles makes a lot more sense.. though I do understand why folks would want some for their armies vs using them as terrain or RP pieces.

Lose some of the grimdark imagery and that car would make a great atomic ride for Fallout-themed games!

Why not just buy the car it's modeled after? http://www.amazon.com/Yat-Ming-Scale-Tucker-Torpedo/dp/B00264GJ3K?ie=UTF8&colid=3SX7KW4MV5K0G&coliid=I3QUH6TV3318BA&fpl=fresh&gwSec=1&redirect=true&ref_=s9_wish_gw_g21_i1_r

Because that isn't quite right. It still looks too grounded in our reality and isn't retro-futuristic enough like the resin model above.

Some new odds and sods.

Battle servitors, I think they are there serve as alternates to the go-cart servitors.

Also the coupe, the unmarked limo and some tracks for it.

Their web site says they're on 40mm, so wrong size for the go-carts (which are 60mm). I don't fancy trying to re-base them...

However, they have some parts in common with the Kataphron battleservitors, like the weapons and the upper leg armour, which is a direct copy of the track guards the kit uses.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Servitors are great yeah, but I'm actually a bit disappointed, we were supposed to be getting a limo variant with wheels, and for my money tracks are not the same as wheels.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

While I enjoy the aesthetic of their models, that car would be impossible to drive, lol. The windshield is not only obstructed, but it faces an upward angle. That takes 40K's "Look, it's sci-fi, just deal with it" approach to physics and vehicle design and turns the dial to 13.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Not sure if I should make the inquisitor dude look like a pimp and make the car gaudy as can be. Either that or turn the car into the bat-mobile type of ride.
