I already have a Darkshroud in my army and I managed to get my hands on another Darkshroud/Vengeance kit but I'm torn on what to make next with it. I thought that I might make another Darkshroud and have a nice little bubble area of cover saves, but then having a Vengeance as a lethal mobile infantry killer would be nice. Right now I'm leaning towards making another Darkshroud so that I don't have to cram everything within 6" of one Land Speeder, but still, plasma Land Speeder...

Magnetise!
In this situation it ieven easier, you do not need magnets, just do not glue the shrine on the speeder

Magnetize, play a few games with the LS Vengeance and then decide to glue it together as a Darkshroud.

The problems with the LSV are that it has just AV 10 all around and can't outrange any anti-armor weapons except meltas (which would be total overkill anyway) so you are forced to jink pretty much all the time. When you jink you have almost as high a chance to glance yourself to death as to actually hit an enemy.

I am working on my first and honesty magnitizing the plasma battery was very easy, just put two 32mm magnets in the turret holes and clip the studs off each cannon. Then cut the shrine studs and it will slide on and off.

If you already have a Darkshroud, I would build it as a Vengeance just for the variety. While the Darkshroud is arguably better, the Vengeance can make for some fun plasma shenanigans.

Never the vengeance, on average it will kill it's self every game, for some random reason it's not twin linked??

Agreed with the above, darkshroud is 1000x better, but I totally understand wanting to try the other. If your friends aren't cool with just proxy then magnetize, its pretty fast with that model.

Never tried magnetizing stuff before, I assume it's basically drilling a spot and putting the magnet in there?

If you use thin metal sheets paired with the magnets you don't have to worry about that.
