So are those your final pics? I mean, you can still go back and change them after the fact if you do do some more, but you want those added to the list, yes?

Sure, Hopefully I can get a few better pics as well, but for now I'd call him ready.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

So, what are the options for next month's poll?

INSANE army lists still available!!!! Now being written in 8th edition format! I have Index Imperium 1, Index Imperium 2, Index Xenos 2, Codex Orks Codex Tyranids, Codex Blood Angels and Codex Space Marines!
PM me for an INSANE (100K+ points) if you desire.

There isn't a poll. It's free-choice.

I went out and bought a bunch of NMM gold paints and now have a horrible suspicion this may end very badly.

It's not the NMM that phases me, but the armor is so lightly etched in places that the detail is hideously faint.

First step is airbrushing the cape and free handing a symbol I think though. If I feth that up at the end, not gonna want to strip it.

Just a first impression, the cords on the front of the helmet are kinda dull in blue, as are the kneepads. I feel like if those were another color, the overall model would be much more interesting. Great work nevertheless!

“Not much is known about the mysterious psyker in blue astartes power amour known as Ignis. He always seems to appear when a situation become the most dire, only to disappear as quickly as he had appeared. Some say that he is the last survivor of his chapter yet he carries no known chapter markings, others think that he is just a psychic apparition. One thing is certain, he has never turned against imperial forces instead striking down their enemies with burst of white hot flame. Several reports have declared him dead, caught in the middle of an explosion or ripped apart by bolter shells, yet he seems return every time. Those who came close enough to the mysterious figure have heard him saying things like ‘fire is the beginning and the end’ and ‘burn heretics and be cleansed by fire’, leaving many to suggest he has an obsession with fire.”

Yep, to clarify, next month's challenge will be 100% open as far as minis go. All the usual rules regarding numbers of minis and Proof requirements remain, but you can enter whatever model or models you think you can do your best on!

To be fair, the last time I was in a pound store, the customer in front of me in the queue paid £10.05... I am still baffled...

I am being totally off topic, but to ease your bafflement, did they buy a plastic bag?

On topic, my Abbadon is basecoated, however I am distracted by other projects currently. This tends to happen a lot.

They bought a reusable bag, at a guess. Though done pound stores charged for normal bags before the law came in.

I was actually well ahead of schedule with this month's entry. Then photos of that new BA Chaplain surfaced and I had to create one of my own that's even better so that I wouldn't spend £20 on a single space marine figure. (fwiw I think i might actually pull it off! been press moulding bits of LotD iconography this evening).
