Or do you have to further use the sketchy disembarkation rules where you jump out and dont splat?

Storm Ravens can't deep strike

And even if you did it would still be swooping so you can't get out of it, and since you didn't move along a path you can't use Skies of Fury to get out either.

Flyers cannot natively Deep Strike, and most of those that could had it Errata'd out.

A unit cannot normally Disembark from a Zooming Flyer, so you need special rules to do so, which the Storm Raven does.

When a Flyer with Hover arrives from Reserves, it chooses its flight mode of Zoom or Skimmer, but is always moving at Combat Speed when Deep Striking.

So, if can get a Raven in to Deep Strike Reserves, it can arrive in Skimming mode at Combat Speed. This should allow for normal disembarking.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

To answer the question in broad terms, as long as nothing specific is disallowing you from doing so, you can disembark from any deep striking transport immediately after it arrives.

It counts having moved at combat speed? I thought it was crusing speed so nothing could get out?

The new raven guard rules have a deep striking storm raven. The Ravenhawk Assault group.

However, it states if you deep strike you must come in hovering. You could jump out at this point (just not assault).
