Subject: Question about Victoria Miniatures Flak Armour Torsos

Hey guys, I'm pretty interested in the Flak Armour Torsos from Victoria Miniatures but in their store description it says they fit "30mm heroic scale" but on a few of their other products it says "fits to 28mm heroic scale". My question is what kind of difference is there between 28mm and 30mm? Would it look bigger than an average AM flak torso? And if so by how much? In honesty I'm hoping they are a little bit bigger (closer to scout torso size) for a new project I'm cooking up

They were designed to fit with GW's guard stuff.
GW themselves vary from 28mm to 32mm on a good day anyway (consistency amongst even the same model line has never been their strongpoint).

They are very similar in size to current guard models. As Chromedog said, they're designed to be compatible with the IG range and they are.
You may find them a little small for your needs if you're looking for a slightly bigger torso.
For what it's worth though, I'm a big fan of vic miniatures and I'd always recommend them. The detail of the sculpts and quality of the casts really are top notch. Been using them quite heavily for my renegade guard project.

Thanks for the replies. Those are some fancy renegades alan, victoria minis does indeed do some fine work.
In truth I really want to use those torsos and attach space marine scout arms on them though I worry that the space between the shoulders will not be wide enough.
I know I can always bulk it up with green stuff but I want to avoid doing that as much as possible as it takes time(even more to make it look good).
Can anyone help give some idea as to how they scale with scout arms?

Why do you specifically want to use the scout arms?
What project are you working on and what look are you trying to achieve?
Maybe we can find alternative arms which would fit those torsos better.

I'm trying to recreate a similar look of the Adeptus Arbites from various Dawn of War mods.
I thought the simplest approach would be scout arms as they come with both bolter and shotguns attached.
I've already made my own custom bits for the torsos that fit with scout arms but am still keeping an eye out for other suitable bits to use for some sergeants or other random units... if anything just to add variety.
This is why I was hoping that 30mm meant it was that much bigger
