I'm pretty sure I have this correct I just want to double check, but the Tidewall Rampart is a fortification not a formation, correct? So the only ways to take the Rampart are with a CAD or unbound? (I read that if you play by the stronghold assault rules there's a formation that's just one fortification slot essentially? Could it be used then?)

I ask because the rules I've found for it just come from the assembly instructions, which don't refer to it as a formation or a fortification.

There is a formation that includes a variant of the Tide Wall in the Mont'ka book I believe, I'll try and find it again.

It's not in Mont'ka - it's a separate thing, with only 200 worldwide.

The rules are somewhere in the internet

Ah, that's why it showed up just before Mont'ka.

You may be able to find the rules right under your nose.

That's for the counter strike cadre, I'm asking about the Tidewall Rampart (one gunrig, one droneport, two shield lines).

That one, AFAIK, is a fortification, not a formation. And its rules should be around the internet as well

The only rules I found have been from the assembly instructions, and it doesn't list whether it's a formation or fortification there (no symbol or anything.)

Kayaun; the full rampart is in the kayaun book(along with each component)

It is just a combined fortification made of several individual fortifications, just like the bastions and aegis one, or the shield generator and prometium relay one.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

The Tidewall Rampart isn't in the Kauyon book. It's rules are only inside the box of the product, much alike Tidewall Counterstrike Cadre.

Pages 191-195: and yes, they are all simply fortifications.

Edit: sorry, that is the defense network, not the rampart.

I'm assuming it's just a fortification, but there is no where saying what it actually is. It'd be so cool if it was a formation though.

The individual parts also don't say if they're formations or fortifications and we know that they're formations.

I was hoping for a formation including fortifications in the Mont'ka book but apparently they didn't think to give us a way to use the new terrain outside of a CAD.
