Did you turn a robotech destroid spartan into a 40k model?
I'd expect to see it in RT 40k (when plastic models were hard to come by and because of this, the style wouldn't just jar ...
But it's just not covered in enough skulls to be imperial.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I'm sorry, but I cannot unsee the fact that the marine seems to be... hum... taking part in some very adult action!
The more I look at it the more I cannot unsee it!

I should have put in the title thread that it's an RT Siege Dreadnought....ooops
It's supposed to be an Ultramarine warmachine that's been repurposed by its new owner's for the use of demolition work. Illegal demolition work that is!

Maybe that says more about you than it does me?
Seriously though, there's a tonne more photos on my blog (taken at different angle's) that don't make him look like he's yankin his knob. It's just the angle & your perverted mind that have viewed it that way

For my money (onanistic Angel of Death notwithstanding) - it looks fantastic, but it's way more Ork than Imperial. Or possibly heavy support for a Chaos cult.

Well, back in the RT days the lines were quite blurred between the different races. Orks used repurposed vehicles, humans outside of the imperial forces used whatever they could find/steal. Hence, why this weather beaten old Ultramarine Siege Dreadnought is still kickin it.....with a merc driver. And yes, back in the old days anyone could use power armour.....if they could get hold of it!
You need to keep in mind that things weren't made like they are today, neatly pressed out from a cookie cutter i.e. Orks "must" have X amount of plates on their vehicles, Ultramarines "must" have this colour scheme etcetera.
So, this is inspired by RT, not from today's incarnation of what the "grim dark" future has turned into. A perfectly uniform set of protagonists that all go to the same barber

Looks awesomely Rogue Trader to me. Could be a pic right in the rulebook from the model section!

Thanks AegisGrimm,
Finally, someone who understands where I got the idea for my creation from
I've got another Siege on the go too, but it's buried behind a couple of other projects. So it'll have to wait for a few more months.
Cheers
