"Fun" is a subjective term, but I'm pretty sure that the only person who would find this army "fun" to play against is you, Dman137.

It's also hardly unbeatable. New Tau could wipe the floor with this list, even in the ITC.

I thought Wraithknights were bad.

Anyway, list is easy to beat, leadership checks for days.

Seer Council is what you want if you want top notch Eldar. But by all means, spam Windriders.

played agaist new tau he had 2 stormsurges, 3 riptide unit and the buffmanderstar unit, the game went to turn 6 and i tabled the tau.

I'm honestly intrigued; would you mind posting a battle report of how that went down? I've played my own Eldar against Triple Riptides and a Stormsurge, and really struggled. If there is some insightful analysis that you can provide to the community, by all means enlighten us.

A S10 T8 Gargantuan Creature with D-weapons for 295 points is automatically one of the best units in the game. The only hard counter is Grav Centurions, and not everyone has native assess to that unit.

Drop Pods force you to foot it after disembarking. Imperial Fists null deployment drop pod army. Bam.

take some dice and roll it out, t6 with a 3+ save is really easy to kill. riptides are harder to kill but the damage output they have is weak. i dont do battle reports because that takes way to long to type and remember but seeing as this game was pretty simple ill explain.
first turn.
i got to go first he had all his stuff on the table except the riptides. i move up all my d-cannons so they are in range for turn 2. i fire all my bikes at the stormsurges and kill 1 and do 3 wounds to the other. on his turn one he kill 2 bike units and 2 d-cannons.
my turn 2 my warithknight deepstrikes infront of his buffmanders unit. i take 1 wound from interceptor. on my turn 2 D-cannons kill the stormsurge. and i kill all but one boradside. and some fire warriors,
his turn 2 the riptides fail to come on. he kills 1 D-cannon. my turn 3 i kill all but one fire warrior. his riptides show up on his turn 3 he kills 2 more bikes units. turn four all he has left are 3 riptides i kill one and move my knight closer. he kills 1 squad of bikes in return. the rest of the game was just him trying to run away while i took off more wounds and then it was over.

For sum reason Dman is always lucky, and always plays stupid opponents (oh please, your telling me the Tau player puts the riptides in reserves, REALLY???), and always wins. I call BS until he wins a proper tournament...

so let me see if I understand you correctly. If I win it must be luck or my opponent is stupid.? First off we are playing a game with dice everything is luck, you just have better odds on some rolls then others. Second off you assume my opponent is stupid even tho he's won major tournements lol but I'd like to see if you have any battle reports of your games or any major tournement wins. I've won plenty of major events. And I've been playing for about 15 years. What's your definition of a major event.? LVO, BAO.? Well maybe you'll be on a team at this years ETC Greece team event. That is if your on a team.

Actually this list is a lot of fun to play against, it's pretty standard MSU with nothing that is particularly overbearing. You just have to use that 10lb lump of crap in your skulls and think about what you're doing.

But whatever it's easier to fall on the crutch that is a defeatist attitude then to actually try.

if you don't know what those awards are then you don't play warhammer 40k. The plack is for winning the Canadian Grand tournament (which was the biggest 40k event you could goto, top 25 in Canada got invited to it) the 2 small awards are best generals, the taller one is a best over all, and the medal is for being the number 1 ranked player in Canada

just started going to more ITC ranked events, not that many in Canada so we have to go to come down to the states for ITC events but there more and more ITC events happening now which is good. You going to Greece for the etc team championship

ITC is a format just like there are many others, how old awards are don't really matter since back in 4th/5th it required skill to play, now you just take the new hotness and that's it. As for my list its a lot of fun to play with lol I point and shoot you remove models I jump and hide and then do the same thing the next turn, I have lots of fun, it's a ITC army I dont care if my opponent has fun or not that's not my problem ITC cares only about battle points so at the end of the day it's all about winning. As for the intelligence in this thread it's insulting that some think that this list is bad and another thinks foot slogging marines would be it, it's scary to think that these are the comments of apparent 40k players. It's not wonder they can't win if they think lists like this suck, or that the lists they say would beat it are so bad.
As for my ITC rank, I have no idea the 2 ITC ranked events I went to haven't been updated on frontline gaming. Tho I could care less if it's ITC or just a normal event it's all the same, if anything ITC format only makes my army better lol

that's pretty sweet dude, wish more events in Canada would be ITC ranked. Sucks your not going this year. But I guess that just gives you more time to bulid/paint and play till 2017 (wherever that might be, cmon Amsterdam lol) I'm still waiting for the daboyz ITC points to get added to the rankings

The thing about ETC Team USA that there are so many top players and only 8 can go. You have to consistently win GTs to make the team.
