Pretty much. Or, you're on a moon of the main gas giant. Or, there's land in the centre that the previous fleet missed. Again, apologies for not keeping track of what this world actually was

What would be some good numbers for traitor guard?

I'm trying to go with a mix of the regular insane bunch, and some more disciplined elites.

Realistically? In the millions, especially of the insane ones. The elites? How elite? Standard guard-level elite, or Scion-level elite?

Between Guard Veteran and Scion, I'd say. Not brainwashed and trained from child on like the Scions, but eh..

And lacking the gear, too, that makes a difference, as War Kitten will find out when I write my part

Oh dear, I think I angered the Scions. But I thought my DEldar fell back to their ships to lick their wounds, or did you mean you'd find the ship? As far as I'm aware the DEldar aren't prone to making bases on the ground.

I'll keep the mystery floating for now and give you that time to soil your pants.

But don't worry too much, my Scions have been given an objective and they won't go for your DEldars till its done.

I love Spark Notes, sure.

Necrons are on planet Voor'Han. Tau send a mining fleet(From lubragh or whatever the FSE plents called) to planet near Voor'Han
Tau are attacked by a lot of Ork pirates, I mean alot.
They enter system sending distress call, about half their fleet remains.
Necrons need power to restore Voor'Han to full capacity. Tau have power capabilities.
Necrons help Tau defeat Orks. Tau leaders meet with Greater Court.
In return for power the Necrons will protect Tau and what not.

It's in the link in my signature. I'm currently writing fluff from Tau POV.

Just a comment, the Necrons wouldn't go "Oh, the ship missed... It must be a Wych Cult ship!" They might figure out that it's an Eldar vessel (maybe, haven't seen too much DE/Necron fluff where they meet), but knowing it's a Wych Cult on board? Reaching a bit.

Didn't I put in there that they had the Dirge scan the ship? Im sure I did, if i didn't I'll correct it

You did, but scanning It wouldn't tell them there's a bunch of Wyches on board, just that there is life on board

On a moral scale, Necrons would be True Evil and Tau are True Good... Completely opposite ends of the spectrum
