Pavus' representative should probably tread lightly, the Ultramarines aren't in a particularly good mood after what's occurred on Novus Regulus

Why do you think I brought the Histans with me to Novus Regulus? They're there to remind me not to shoot the first person Pavus sends to meet with Julius

I actually am positive about people borrowing my characters. As long as it isn't a death scene for them, of course.

Is it bad that I already have deaths written up for a fair amount of my Histan characters? But those are not for this crusade. Perhaps sometime I will shed more light on the subject, but I'm not sure.

Oh good. I tend to second guess that I've offended people by using their toys.

Puzzling at what to do now, as I wasn't expecting LC Fairfax to be... Expected. He's not even messaged the planet yet. The letter makes me wonder if chazz is just slightly ahead of me in timescale, or Fairfax has no chance of hiding his intentions.

It's also difficult to plan to be sneaky if you're posting your sneaky plan in plain sight.

I might have to spend a day or two reading back the topic to try and understand Trisburg better before I do anything.

I might have to spend a day or two reading back the topic to try and understand Trisburg better before I do anything.

So Pavus doesn't really have any details, he has heard rumors of someone in crusade high command sending men to investigate what he happening on Trisburge, he has no idea who, when, where, or why so stealth is still very much possible. He assumes that Kruger is sizeing up the Faustian defenses. If you like I can edit my story to make Pavus and his brother less aware. Also Marcus Pavus is a very very very minor character of mine, so feel free to do what you want with him. Kill him, recruit him, shoot him into the sun I don't care, just a convenient plot point. But realize that Hannibal Pavus will judge you based on how his brother is treated.

Lastly a brief history of Trisburge

Trisburge is one of the chief recruitment worlds for the Faustians in this sector as sending reinforcements from Faust would be too impractical.
Trisburge was not too long ago a world besieged by orks but now is relatively successful under the New Faustian Regime, that being said orks are still a bit of a nuisance, however the PDF have so far done well at keeping them in check. The world was liberated by the Faustians early in the crusade and was inducted into "The Realm of Faust." Basically like Ultramar except its ruled by a power hungry family instead of Space Marines. The planetary governor is Marcus Pavus, his brother appointed him governor for his loyal service. The Capital city is called Bovengrad. hope that helps a little bit so you don't have to go digging through my posts.

Lovely reunion, Blackjack. I like how the mood changed as the intention became clear.

And yeah, the House Fairfax has the Histans' backs if you ever require something off the regular menu. Remember that they're not just merchants, they're information dealers, and that the three ships under Reynard's control would not contain the entire family's resources or reach.
I'm saving introducing any family for when young Reynard crashes his car into a tree, if the losses around here are anything to go by, but it doesn't mean that later one you couldn't be assisted due to geography.
FFG play it up, but some RTs would even give Astartes and inquisition pause for thought before throwing their weight around, such is their networking.

Chazz, thank you so much for the summarising. I'm still slowly reading the main topic, but it's very slow work, and as said we do have a few drop outs that lead nowhere.
So far as dialogue with Trisburg goes, in terms of formal requests, are you okay to handle some responses?
And no plans to be unnecessarily cruel to Marcus, though you will see the crew's very different approaches to the idea of threat.

I'm having them guess there's something wrong like heresy, mutants or Xenos sympathisers. I very much doubt gene stealer cults are common knowledge for them to be on the lookout for that sole purpose.

I'm just finishing the little crew meeting discussion, then I'll sort out a message from Fairfax to Marcus/whoever answers the space phone, and at some point get Edward back, and the ship security sorted.
In terms of writing rolls/ interaction with the Trisburg IG, do they have a controlling writer so to speak?

And I should stop writing when tired. I never intended it, but whenever I put the seneschal in a room with Selka, bromance accidentally happens. Whilst it is no bad thing, I think I need to introduce some estrogen to my crew.

Not unless she comes with a free set of leg irons to keep Selka in his box.
Fairfax doesn't greatly care what the wrapping of his friends is, in comparison.
