I don't think I'd be suitable for the role. I wouldn't be able to throw in many plot twists to keep everyone off balanced, so I'll let others take the lead. If you and Chazz want to GM, then you may GM.

That's not really what I meant.

I meant if you've just taken an area, but you lost a bunch of troops due to poor luck, you could come and offer me some of what you found there, and I'll look in the back and see what could be made from it.
Say you found a nice archeotech pistol, I'd trade you some Skitari for your next mission.

Likewise if a chaos force took a lot of live captives and wished to weaponise them, I'm not fussy. Work is work.

And I did say "if you want to bother". I'm not expecting everyone to start keeping a diary.

Imperial Knights can actually do a fair bit of diplomatic stuff. When they're not fighting these guys hold court and things like that. I want to try my hand at some diplomacy during this Crusade

A Tau cadre sounds pretty swell, but I'm still debating, a renegade Astartes army (hint hint) could be used.

I'm just excited to try my hand at writing up some Knight stuff. I can do both Combat AND Diplomacy with them. Gives me lots of fluff options

The new fluff states that high ranking Necrons have their own personalities. I have like 1-5% of what a normal Dynasty has.
It benefits Kageros to have allies to help lessen his own losses, you can't have allies being the stereotypical Necron.

Personality =/= Morals. No current Necron warlord (including the one who actuallt retains all lf his memories and is super outdated) would ally with the Imperium and vice versa. Every race who wouldn't ally with them does that for a very very very good reason.

That's not exactly correct, the Necrontyr were honorable, sure they fought each other but so does the Imperium, Chaos, Eldar, Dark Eldar, etc.
Someone with no morals can't really be honorable and what not. Turning them into robots only unified their race, if they had no morals they wouldn't have been able to defeat the Old Ones.
So it's no likely but it's possible

Also, allying with the Imperium is more of a joke because the Imperium never would. Allying with Chaos seems alot more likely, which is what I've been going for. A lot of Necrons are insane(Nemesor Zandrekh), whats to say Kageros isn't slightly insane as well?

Khorne is the literal being of honourable combat. I don't see any merciful Berserkers, now do I?

You're right about Khorne, but Khorne doesn't like leaving people alive, he's as much about shedding blood as about honorable combat.

But Khorne is not Necrons, and Berzerkers are not Overlords who actually decide what they do and are not dictated by a Chaos God

I'm fine if no ones going to take chances but that's not going to stop me. And if Wh40k is all law of the Jungle, why is there an Allies Chart? Shouldn't everyone just be attacking one another?
