I didn't actually hurt the trees like at all. I stated that it looked like nothing had happened to them. I probably should have talked a bit more about some more dying gaunts, but it I did also say I had to retreat. (as in, I lost.)

Yea, i'm trying to have the lictor have a bit of plot armor, but I can't name him since his name would only come from the enemies he fights(trees can't name things and I can't think of a name tyranids would call it.). As for this, I can change the word of "small" to "large" in the second to last paragraph so it symbolizes that I assaulted, lost a large portion of my forces, rallied with the rest, and retreated, if that would help you see that it was a defeat.

I had around 136 ships in my Necron armada at the end of the last crusade. That was 2 combined fleets... I now have 3...
Granted only about 40 or so are in the outer void of the Crion Sub-system
