Subject: Can Space Marines (particularly Primarchs) have children?
And why the hell is Space Marine sexuality such a damned common topic?
Because you can't have superman fantasies without making sure you can still achieve standard male success by being a total stud, I guess?
CthuluIsSpy wrote:I think it does say or imply that they are incapable of reproduction somewhere but, It's not very clear though.
GW always avoids stuff like that.
I think its for the best; it would be like a great dane mounting a chihuahua

Going by your article, Great Dane on Chihuahua didn't work.
They had to do Chihuahua on Dane. It involved a stepladder.
That is somewhat amusing.

Clearly as others have said, the extra organs, hardened skeleton, black carapace and all that good stuff doesn't actually change the persons DNA. So any offspring would just be Human.

The DNA is changed to reduce the chance of the extra organs being rejected though.

And, don't forget, nearly every book featuring Space Marines talks about how they have Primach DNA infused with their own. The question, ultimately, is "can Primarchs mate with humans?" As this is never a question that will be answered by GW, due to the fact that they shun most sexual content like the plague (outside of a few books, such as Legion), we will never know whether or not Space Marines can actually have children.

Nah, Great dane has to lay down sometime. Nature finds a way. Plenty of big-dog/small-dog hybrids out there - when the small dog is the bitch, they generally have to C-section or both die.

After modifications they have no desire, but quite possible a randy 14 year old could knock up a girl and then be selected for Space Marine training. The baby would still be his, his genetics, just not the Geneseed genes.

I’d also listened to her speak of the ordos and their politics. I’d heard tales of her past purges and operations that went awry. I’d learned Fenrisian curse words from her lips, and taught her many of the myriad ways of blocking incoming blows with a quarterstaff. On more than one occasion I’d stood with her and her warband in the communal showers after training, blind and numb to any sensation of desire, watching her wash her hair and listening to her speak of serving in the sweltering jungles of Voroxis, killing heretics who spilled from a downed rogue trader vessel. Bizarrely, the Khatan had declared, upon seeing me wash myself, that my ascension to knighthood was ‘a great shame’. Captain Castor had explained the meaning to me several months later, though I still didn’t see the humour in it.

I don' get your point, of course if a boy get a girl pregnant before he is selected the baby won't get the geneseed but only his father's DNA. But that's a thing for any baby and father, nothing to do about Space Marines or even 40k. Or I missed something here.

The baby is the child of a space marine. If I had a child and then became a marine, the child is still mine, I'm still its biological father. It just doesn't have space marine geneseed DNA, obviously, but yes, in that way, its quite possible for Space Marines to be fathers. Except GW want to push a younger audience and the dicussion or even suggestion of sex or teen pregnancy will not never be canon.

The Space Marine is ideally sexually attractive to the Inquisitor. The Inquisitor laments his ascension, because he'd probably make a good lover if he wasn't impotent.

Many a Marine believed this and found out the hard way when rolling on the Deep Strike Mishap Table. Rapid Insertion has its issues.
