Been away from the thread for longer than I'd like, due to moving house. However it's finally time to post some new stuff:

Good conversion. Love the albino, scary, but I like it.

Your friends colour scheme is excellently painted, but I am not sure, maybe its a bit to close to fleshy for me.

A lot of people ask me that, but it's actually a reference to the first movie, where a human skull is just visible underneath the cranial dome.

Hate to sound like a complete noob but I’ve got to ask: how did you manage to glue these together? I bought the AVP starter box earlier this year and the glue I tried (cyanoaccrylate i think?) didn’t work at all on the models.

Cyanoacrylate (super glue) is the right stuff, you don't need a special glue or anything, standard hobby superglue or even dollar-store stuff should work. If it's not, you may want to wash the models in water with a touch of dishwashing liquid, just make sure the water isn't warm or you'll warp the figures.

These are all fantastic, and I love the converted Alien Warrior, very dynamic pose.

A few models from my Engineer cult. I painted all of these last year (and yes, there are a lot more) but haven't had a chance to get decent-ish photos for this thread until now. Visually I'm going much deeper into the clunky, post-apoc aspects of Giger-land on some of these than the Alien series usually does.

I love this thread... there is some awesome work in here. Love the face hugger bases, they are cool, and the greens on the spitter alien look great!

That spitter alien looks great. I love the green, and the drool on the mouth .

I know nothing about the Engineer Cult other than they look cool!

Spitter is looking rather smart too.

Great looking game!

A stripped down 3e 40k with homebrew stats. It still needs a lot of work but was functional enough for a fun game.

I give them a full-body coat of gloss varnish, then give the cranial domes a second coat.
